Setup a bit of a pain but...
Pros: It did drop temps down 7C from the stock cooler.
Cons: Setup is a bit difficult, but they do provide a proper screwdriver. I knew that going in prior but I'm still pleased.
Overall Review: A bit cumbersome on the setup, but for such and inexpensive cooler, it does a fine job.
Easy to install. Super quick
Pros: Literally no issues with it. Using is as a game drive.
Cons: Would be nice to have some management software available, but it seems to work w/o it.
Overall Review: At the price point and on sale, it was a very good deal. Pleased with it thus far.
So far its rock solid overclocker paired with an i9-9900K with only 1 minor issue
Pros: - Run insanely cool. At load, the board sensors read mid to low 30Cs - Nice aesthetics. - Plenty of connectivity
Cons: -Blue LED on the I/O Shield failed within a week. At this point, its not worth an RMA for a week old board. I'll monitor and see if anything else fails.
Excellent tracking
Pros: Perfect tracking for an opitcal mouse 1000Hz Poll Rate Weights to customize feel Comfortable in the hand
Cons: The drivers need some work. This mouse just came out, so the configuration util is still version 1. You can not specify keys for the side buttons, but instead are given set commands that almost no one would use, especially a gamer, who this mouse it marketed to. DPI choices are set at 400/800/1200/3500. Nothing inbetween. I would love to be able to have a choice between 1200 and 3500. Again, my MX1100 gave me an option and it worked well. More customization with buttons would be nice. Logitech makes it easy to bind any number of keystrokes or keys to any button. No reason it should be available here.
Overall Review: The side buttons really can only be bound to macros, which are easy to setup complicated commands, but simple things like binding the side button to a button on the keyboard or a middle mouse button is near impossible. The delay rates on the macros are limited to 100ms increments. In order to use drag screen scrolling in Starcraft 2, I'm having to create a macro binding "/" to the button, and adding a delay of 300 to 500ms to the macro. This gets rid of the flashing cursor and jittery scrolling, but also means you have a half a second delay after letting the button go. Its not exactly a good way of doing it. A simple solution would be to include Middle Button, or Key Assignment as an option for the bindings, just like Logitech does it.
Performs well, but item recieved is not what is pictured
Pros: Very silent. Performs very well. CPU temps down to 16c idle from 45c, and 37c load from 75c. 5600+ OC to 3.0 Nice starter kit
Cons: Not the product I ordered. Saw other reviews about missing items and wrong items so I check with Egg's support. Was told that the items were correct, and if they were incorrect, they would take it back and refund my order (less shipping). Took my chance, but it was wrong in the end. Missing a few clamps, tube coils are GREEN (very ugly with the blue water) The resevoir was supposed to in a 5.25" driver bay with the pump, in a single unit. Res and pump are seperal. I made due, but had to modify my case to make everything fit. This was not why i ordered this specific kit.
So far, seems OK
Drives were MaxDigital, basically generic NAS/CCTV drives. Two year warranty on the drives. Performance is as expected.
