Pros: The card itself is a massive beast, very sturdy and intimidating. Since its install(which was easy enough, be sure you have a large enough case though!) it has ran many a game and program at the max resolution pf my monitor, Ultra settings on Metro 2033, Skyrim, Crysis 2, Mass Effect 3, Diablo III... it plays anything I throw at it without minimal frame rate loss, if any at all.
Cons: It can get a bit noisy after a couple hours of intense gameing, even in my case with 10+ fans, i can clearly hear the cards fans over the rest when I play too long. Though I'd rather have a cool, non-overheating card than sit in silence.
Overall Review: The card is overall a champ, currently plan on buying a second and do CrossfieX, just hope the card is still here selling! Oh and as always newegg did a great job shipping in a timley manner and the card was well packaged.
Save your money
Pros: Simple set up if you follow the "directons" (all pictures)
Cons: Honestly I dont know where to begin, if you want a decent peraonal cloud then I would look elsewhere. Slow transfer speeds when it was working (topped out at 10mbs). Then, like many other reviewers, a fireware update was pushed for the unit and now it cant be seen on my network at all. The streaming service never worked at all when it was running, and the configuration webpage crashes and freezes frequently. A poor piece or hardware with even worse firmware, save yourself the regret and buy somthing with better reviews. I wish I had believed all the bad reviews myself, but now ill testify that the problems here are not user error, but product defection.
Overall Review: Got it on sale for $50, and I still feel ripped off about this purchase. Setup a simple server pc running linux on an old Dell Pentium 4 and it works great compared to this junk.
Pros: The case itself is pretty sturdy and has a decent amount of space. Good airflow, the massive fan on the side alone does a fantastic job.
Cons: The cable for the temperature probe is too short, it wont even reach the CPU's heat sink. The LCD temperature display came with one of its lines not working, kinda looks odd not displaying a number correctly. The fan in the front also shipped to me broken, and the cables on the rear fan come unplugged from their plastic housing.
Overall Review: Everything that's built of metal on it is decent, but the plastic accessories and cables are poor quality. The fan on the side panel is keeping it cool for now so hopefully that does not break easily.
