4 Packs later, not a single coaster

Pros: Excellent Media, I have had 0 defects so far. These let you print closer to the hub than any other DL DVD inkjet media that I have found. The price has dropped by 10 dollars since I bought my first pack, hopefully that trend continues.
Cons: They are still a bit spendy, Newegg doesn't sell them in higher quantities than the 20 pack, and you can't print all the way to the hub, inner diameter is 38mm. Newegg seems to be running out of stock on these more and more often. Too many people must be realizing how good this media is.
Overall Review: I really wish Newegg would stock the 50 disc or more packs of these discs.
Raptors are Unreliable

Pros: Western Digital offers lifetime warranty, they RMA stuff at the drop of a hat, too bad they use UPS for shipping though, UPS screws up ALL the time. 5 eggs for warranty, 1 for quality control, 5 for performance, averages out to about 3 eggs.
Cons: I bought 4 of this model for my last computer, 2 of them failed and had to be RMA'd. I also bought 2 of the 150 gig versions for my latest computer, both of which failed. But like I said, they replace them quickly. I would not raid these unless you don't mind rebuilding often, or are using RAID 5.
Over a year and nearly 300 discs later

Pros: The highest quality dual layer inkjet-printable dvd media out there (not that there is a lot of choice).
Cons: As someone else noted, the second layer of some of these discs has started having problems recently (or else I would still give 5 stars). This seems to coincide with the printing on the hub of the disc going from black ink to white. I also agree that it would be nice if you could print all the way to the center on these discs.
Great Media

Pros: I've bought a couple of spindles of these, and will buy more. They take inkjet printing well.
Cons: They also come in spindles of 40 and 60 bu Newegg doesn't carry those. Places that do have a much higher cost-per-disc than Newegg charges for the 20 disc.
Overall Review: Please get the 40, 60, and 80 disc spindles of these Newegg! Ground shipping on the 20 disc spindles is killing me! (the local computer stores don't carry inkjet print-able DL discs)
Very nice

Pros: Fast. With the right video card(s) you'll have the best gaming machine in the land (for a while, at least).
Cons: The stock heat sink is weak. Be prepared to buy a Zalman CNPS9500 AM2. Unless you're brave enough to do watercooling. High Speed and Limited Availability are driving the price up, but speed comes with a premium, and eventually the channel will fill up.
Overall Review: Look for EPP RAM if you are going the nForce 590 chipset route. Newegg Rules.
