Great speed and reliability!

Pros: I've never had a problem with this drive. When I got it home, the first thing I did was reformat it and run chkdsk, absolutely no errors. the speed of this drive is phenomenal over the included USB 3.0 cable. ATTO puts this drive at 115MB/s read and 110MB/s write which is very fast for just a backup drive. A full system backup takes me about 20 minutes with Ghost.
Cons: The software provided from WD isn't very flexible, but it's the only way to adjust the spin-down time of the drive which is a major headache when it shuts down every 15 minutes and you want to use it intermittently. Start-up initialization is very slow when my BIOS is POSTing, this drive adds 10 seconds to my boot time when it's plugged in at least. The solution being only plug it in when you need it or never restart. (neither great fixes).
Overall Review: I actually feel safe backing up my data on this drive, WD has always proved reliable and rugged for all the products that I've bought from them. It actually looks really good next to my tower with it's sleek black finish.
Very Dissapointed.

Pros: The instructions had nice pictures.
Cons: This only worked one time, and when it did it took 30 minutes to access one file on the drive.
Overall Review: I bought this because I upgraded my system to a system without IDE controllers, only SATA. This converter is a piece of junk, it doesn't show the drive correctly, and when it does work it's slower than PIO mode. This is not a viable option for using an IDE hard drive in a SATA system, and I don't even want to try it in reverse. Stay away from this product.
This case is a solid buy

Pros: This case is built with such attention to detail and high quality that it could be a $300 case easily. It has everything you could ever need in a case and more! 6 HDD support, 12" GFX cards, tall CPU cooler support, liquid cooling support for 2x240 rads (top and bottom) or 1 280 rad on top), almost everything is tool less, VGA support bracket... the list is endless, but those are just features. The real quality of this case is how it's built. first of all, the case is heavy, 20 lbs may sound light but it's not. all of that weight went into the SOLID construction of this thing, thick panels, double layering on the doors, all the edges are curled over for a smooth finish to the touch, no sharp edges. This is the nicest case I've owned.
Cons: The ONLY thng I have against this case is that there were no SATA back-planes. but HOW can that be an honest con, you could be putting IDE or SCSI drives in this (please don't). They could have included the option for it or maybe an add on part because to take out or replace a hard drive, I have to open up both sides, the back to unplug it and the front to remove it. Oh well, it's not a huge inconvenience to me.
Overall Review: If you're borderline on this case, I'd say just go for it, it won't let you down. the case build and quality EASILY offset the price tenfold.
