great 2U socket 2011 cooler
Pros: Fits in 2U form factor Excellent flow rate and heat dispersal for footprint
Cons: None, when you consider its application
Overall Review: The other reviewer missed the point of this cooler - this is one of the ONLY 2011 square coolers that will fit in a 2U rackmount case. Does it offer the same temps and acoustics of a watercooler the size of a cantelope? No. But at 8,000 RPM it kept a hex core 3930K at 4.5GHz running prime95 at about 70C stable. Not bad for a little 2U cooler.
Killed my SSD and Bluray drive
Pros: Came in a nice box
Cons: Bought a new case and this PSU and added a working Bluray drive and Vertex 2 SSD. Wouldn't boot with everything connected. Started removing components, got just the mainboard/ram to boot OK, determined it wouldn't boot with both the Bluray and the SSD plugged in oddly enough. Tried a different PSU and they both powered up fine. Went back to the Corsair and double checked all the connections. Next boot, smelled burning from my Bluray. Also noticed the power LED on my Vertex wasn't lit. Tested components in another machine and they are definitely dead now. Not sure what recourse I have, but this PSU is killing components and has cost me hundreds. Never had a problem like this before in over a hundred builds. Look elsewhere.
Abysmal
Pros: You might get decent performance for a few weeks
Cons: Absolutely terrible product, a nightmare. Intermittently, the web software, which is the worst authored product of its kind I've seen, fails to detect the card. Write performance with SSDs took a nosedive in a few months all the way down to 5mb/s random 10-20mb sequential. Array was showing degraded during POST but the MaxView software showed that it was fine. Stay away.
Good product
Pros: A good value. 1920x1080 in a small form factor. Single cable.
Cons: If you are sensitive to input lag, go with a HDMI interface instead. Even on 3.0, the USB driver lags mouse and keyboard input slightly. I found that it slowed me down enough to not want to use this panel for primary activities, using it more as a reference material monitor.
Decent
Pros: Great aesthetics and cooling.
Cons: Makes a really annoying buzz around 1300 RPM on my DP43TF. Ran 5 volt to it instead of using the CPU fan connector and it's fine though.
Overall Review: Prime95 only got it to 60C with no fan at all.
works great
Pros: works fine and reliably, i have not had cable issues like other posters but I am careful with it. the cable is short which I like, it hides easily and makes for a clean product.
Cons: none
