Very Nice Z77
Pros: Great Motherboard! All components are of quality and are well supported in Linux. It's hackintosh friendly if that's your thing. No fuss motherboard with everything I needed. Pleasant build experience.
Cons: Bluetooth is powered by USB header (Not a problem if you want to use the proximity Bluetooth function for Windows just use the always-on port)
Overall Review: Update to the latest BIOS immediately, seems some earlier versions have quirks. This Mobo 3770K @ 4.4ghz 32GiB of 1866mhz CAS 10 RAM Crucial M4 256GB GTX 670's in SLI
Schaweeet Card!
Pros: Native HDMI + DisplayPort Eyefinity OpenGL 3.1 support DirectX 11 High framerates @ 1920 x 1080 As long as my previous 4780 + runs cooler DD-TrueHD and DTS-MA-HD support!!
Cons: Stock Bios is locked to 775mhz core 1125mhz mem in CCC (see other thoughts)
Overall Review: Flash the unlocked Asus BIOS found at techpowerup forums which has a much higher OC limit without 3rd party tools. Before flashing find your max stable OC and use RBE to edit the BIOS with your custom clocks and custom fan profile! Don't forget to use a slightly lower than max OC because summer is coming...
Good mem for the old school
Pros: Nice price, did it's job, can't complain worked exactly as it should... ran memtest passed for 24 hours! Good to go ;)
Cons: none
Overall Review: Thanks newegg! Always love your service!
No firware udate needed w/ SD04
Pros: Has the name Seagate on it so you know it's reliable. 750gb thats bang for buck i.e. 20cent a gig. 5 year warranty. See other thoughts
Cons: I want 3 terabytes but can't afford it :(
Overall Review: I recieved this drive with the SD04 firmware. I have a P-35 mobo with the ICH9R southbridge just for refference, and I can say no firmware upgrade needed! HD Tach reports 168.8Mb/s Burst, avg. reads @ 83.4Mb/s, 2% cpu usage, and 12.5 random access. I dumped close to 500 gigs on this bad boy the first day I had it and it just wants more and more.
Gotta get the DD-WRT Firmware!
Pros: Great router! upgrade to the DD-WRT firmware and this thing is a beast. I havn't seen this many options since I got my DFI Lanparty SLI-DR Expert mobo. Powerful router and the best IMO if you need B/G connection.
Cons: firmware that comes with it isn't that great. I recieved one with Firmware Version: v4.30.7 which is the latest on linksys's site. but had issues with connections after serveral hours. The only other con is that you have to load DD-WRT mini firmware first then the DD-WRT full firmware, so you will have to flash twice which it added risk.
Overall Review: the WRT54GL "L" stands for Linux so third parties can make firware with the free open source code! Which is why this is one of the top rated routers. If you need a B/G wireless connection do yourself a favor and add this badboy to the cart now :P If you are not a techie person don't worry just google "DD-WRT guide" for more info.
Great job again Mushkin :D
Pros: Flawless compatibility! Easy to install. Booted up no problem. Checked for errors overnight and it's good.
Cons: NONE!
Overall Review: Even a noobie can make this work.
