Great performer and quite cooler

Pros: Installed very easy, keeps my i7-12700 chip at 30C and under 45C during stress testing with ambient temps at 20C. Barely hear a thing out of it.
Cons: Lights? All for show, silly when you think about it. An option to just leave the lights unplugged or turned off.
Overall Review: A value purchase and should have.
It will fail

Pros: Install OS was a snap after Bios setup. Fast as expected.
Cons: After 6 month of use I started getting system freezes and then blue screen. Then bios would not see the ACHI sata drive. It just died. After the long process of getting a RMA I got a brand new drive in new packaging. Great ha!I went in fine but had to do a fres OS install and program installs. Had my files on a data drive R3 WD drive, so everything is ok for a couple of months. Then it died again!. I will RMA it again, but bought a WD 300GB rapture and will give up on SSD for now. My frien had a differnt problem with a cosair SSD and I belive it is not ready for prime time.
Blue tooth mouse

Pros: First thing the mouse had to be linked to computer blue-tooth. No problem with that but when computer restarts the link is lost. And with the many updates on windows 11 I had to find my old defective mouse to go int settings to reconnect. Then I could use mouse again.
Cons: Less than two months now and the right click button now needs a hard push to work. Two many problems with mouse to keep. My wife's Dell wireless works perfectly. It was oem designed and always works. Not so an after market device.
Overall Review: Get a wired mouse or one that has it's own USB blue tooth device.
No driver support for 11 year old MB

Pros: Clean and simple install, did require USB support which my older Asus MB had.
Cons: Turn on computer, did windows update but now blue tooth or wireless network. Device manager showed them but had a yellow triangle next to devices. Went to download site, had a driver that was not loadable. It was a .rar - iso file that was not usable. Asus tech support said MB too old and not supported so return it from dealer.
Overall Review: Check compatibility before you buy. Most new mother boards already have this feature.
works and a buget price.

Pros: Basic cameras and equipment. Had all the cables to do a complete install.
Cons: It had software to remote view only form a smart phone using your wireless network. No software for a network LAN connected computer observation. Device was to be installed in utility room without a monitor. Upstairs where I live and computers are, had no way to see what was going on. I had a LAN cable run for that purpose. It comes down to the correct codec for the browser. I could not find the required plug in for my browsers to see the compressed video. They did not offer it as a support item. An forget getting any tech support from them. Their replies were cookie cutter and never responded to my specific questions. Had to return.
Overall Review: Make sure you don't need support and it fits your specific needs out of the box.
Stable and functional board

Pros: Works well, stable and easy to build with. Lots of ways to play with like lighting control, 3 M.2 slots and a mini WIFI mounting under one of the M.2 slots.
Cons: The first problem was with the metal punch out for the interface between the case and rear receptacles of the board. Maybe a case problem or the metal insert provided by Asus. The alignment of holes was not perfect, offset by just a bit and no amount adjustment seemed to help. The sheet metal overhang some of the connectors a bit. Something just not right. The Z960 chip runs very warm right off the start. Idle computer with fans running the chip runs at 60-65C. CPU running at 30C. Had a small squirl cage fan, zip tied it to one of the m.2 SSD drives to direct a blast of air to the hollow chamber of the very small heat sink and temps dropped to 30C and sometimes up to 40C under load. Asus had many responses from that is perfectly normal to maybe they will look into it at a higher level. They were glad I responded with much detail from a user perspective. We will see if they offer me a fix like a real heat sink that has some surface area. The board is the Mini ATX so maybe none of the off the shelf heat sinks fit. I did point out it was a Z-690 chip and not a H or B version. If you overclock this thing, many people have reported extreme temps on this chip.
Overall Review: A work in progress, some fine tuning is due. It does work well and is one of the only Mini ATX Z690 boards ASUS offers at this time.
