5 star and 1 star

Pros: I give this motherboard 1 star and 5 stars. When it works it's 5 stars.
Cons: Going through hell figuring out why it keep crashing on me causing me to lose a week of my life 1 star.
Overall Review: Disabling hyper threading has seem to have stoped the reboots/crashes. Please google cache this statement and show it when someone searches for this motherboard and crashes/reboots. Disabling hyper threading has seem to have stoped the reboots/crashes. Disabling hyper threading has seem to have stoped the reboots/crashes. I've discovered that I could always trigger it by activating the video card into doing something. My original thought was bad video card so replaced with a very old video card and had the same reboot reactions. I tried everything from removing sticks of RAM, to booting using my server's hard drive. To using an old power supply. To disconnecting everything from USB and just using a ps/2 keyboard thinking hte USB voltage was off somehow... yes I know. I reinstalled the OS on the original hard drive. I moved the Video card to the second slot. Updated the BIOS on the everything I could get my hands on. Nothing fixed it. I was 10 seconds from RMA it when reading through the NewEgg comments and found the hyperthreading setting. I disabled it and it seems to work now. I'm running win 7 x64. Great but buy a different cooler

Pros: Extremely fast, awesome chip. It does everything I want and then some. I've had this chip running a high intensity analytic system for 7 days straight with no rest and never once slowed down.
Cons: The only reason I'm giving this 1 star is so that poeple read this. Do NOT use the factory fan it comes with. Do NOT use the factory fan it comes with. Do NOT use the factory fan it comes with. Do NOT use the factory fan it comes with. I had major overheating issues on the chip without overclocking. Spend the cash on a nice cooling setup. You'll be using this chip for years so an extra $20-$50 on a well made fan is worth it. Or take the plunge into water cooling (pun intended).
Overall Review: Buy this chip. Just buy invest in a nice fan.
