retraction of my previous review

Pros: Runs very well. DDO with nearly everything set to max yields playable framerates, even in the areas that brought my old PC to its knees. More realistic settings (anisotropic filtering not maxed, for instance) yield great framerates. DX10 ready if I ever switch to "that" OS. Quiet - possibly quieter than the whisper-level fans elsewhere in the system. Nvidia software allows for broad range of tweaking options for those so inclined.
Cons: It's quite large and heavy. (9") Just barely fits. Drivers on CD are positively ancient, but that's normal for video cards. Printed matter seemed a bit off (diagram of different video card etc.) and translations were the typical not-quite-right quality. Game bundle seems to be just a couple (demo?) titles built into the driver CD, not full-blown products.
Overall Review: I'd previously written (as noplug) that it obscures the ATX power socket on my ASUS P5B-Plus. It doesn't. It does obscure one of the (many) fan connectors, which is a minor quirk of the mobo and not this card's fault. It probably makes the adjacent PCI slot unusable (would probably limit video card fan draw) but I have no reason to put anything in PCI slots anyway so I don't consider that a problem.
does not fit in Asus P5B-Plus mobo

Pros: wouldn't know, can't plug it in
Cons: This thing measures just under 9" from end to end, and will not fit in the Asus P5B-Plus mainboard because it covers one end of the ATX power socket!
Overall Review: I'm not sure which is dumber, a card this long or a mainboard with the power connector right where a long video card would go...
very nice
Comments: Easy setup, was up and running in 2 minutes. Print server works well. Firewall defaults to off, but that's my only gripe. Web-based admin interface is well laid out. Price is fantastic. I recommend this for any SOHO or home user.
