Excellent Stable Board
Pros: This board is rock solid. Been running stable for 2 months with dual quad xeons with 28GB of ram. No hardware issues at all. Supported by linux kernel also. Been using XenEnterprise 4.0.1
Cons: Wouldn't boot with 32GB of ram, 28GB only. Didn't bother RMA'ing since everything else worked
Overall Review: I wish there were more ram slows and that it booted with 32GB.
Don't Use for 4GB and Linux
Pros: Good stable board for only 2GB or 8GB ram. Works in linux (Fedora 5)
Cons: Server runs at 450x (benchmarked speed) slower speed with 4x1GB sticks with PAE enabled to show 4GB on 32bit Fedora 5. Used E6300, Q6600, and QX6700 to test.
Failed After 3 Months
Pros: Worked on install.
Cons: 4 out of the 6 sticks failed after 3 months.
Overall Review: RMA was simple but it really sucks I have to RMA in the first place on a working server. Gets an extra egg for simple RMA.
TYAN S7010AGM2NRF - DOES NOT FIT
Pros: None
Cons: Does not work with TYAN S7010AGM2NRF and the ZALMAN CNPS9700. 2 capacitors are in the way.
Excellent Case
Pros: I love this case, plenty of drive space, easy to build. EATX support, decent price point
Cons: Don't think there is any but the power supply isn't the best quality, had some DOA's
Works
Pros: Have 2 of these running with dual 2.33 harpertowns and 8GB of ram. Working for 8 months now without issue. CentOS 5.
Cons: 1 out of 3 was DOA but otherwise good.
