SIGMA LAVIE LAVIE-LSWS Leather Silver SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
SIGMA LAVIE LAVIE-LSWS Leather Silver SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: This case is lightweight but stable and durable. The "tooless" connections work really well, AND there are screw-holes for the PCI slots for the extra stability you need there. It's roomy enough for big fans and long cards, and the clear cover came scratchless. I hooked up everything, including an additional fan and an all-in-one card-reader that fit into one of the front 3.5" bays, and it took about 45 minutes. I LOVE the soft feel of the front and the sparkly silver finish...this thing is pretty without being gaudy. I was even able to easily pop the front off to install a front fan, so the case now has 2 120mm fans (front and back) and one 80mm fan on the side. I moved the stock fan to the front and put a colorful led fan in the back, so now it really lights up! And because all the fans have the plugs that connect to one another (like end to end christmas tree lights!), I only needed to use one of the 4pin connectors on the power supply.

Cons: I can't think of a thing.

Overall Review: This case is wider than others I've owned, which I like since it makes it easier to work in there, but it's something to note if you have a space limitation.

What a sweet little machine

Pros: I bought this for my 9-year-old last Christmas, which is a little crazy I know, but can you believe they make power-points and use Word and Excel in the 3rd grade now?? I was tired of her hogging mine. Anyway, this thing has worked flawlessly for her from day one, even though she's really not careful with it. I'm very impressed with the durability. She plays lower end MMORPGs with it a lot (e.g. Toontown) and has no problems. Recently, her brother got her interested in WOW, and guess what...Yes, this thing runs World of Warcraft, with all the high graphics settings, without a hitch. I don't think it could handle Half Life 2, but the tipping point on what it can do is somewhere between those two games. I really did not thing that the integrated graphics could do it, but it does.

Cons: Doesn't have many of the things that recent laptops tend to have, like built-in web-cam or card readers, or 4 USB ports. You'll need a USB hub and peripherals if you want those things.

Overall Review: She watches Netflix Downloads full screen on it all the time too, again, flawlessly...AND it has an SVG out jack, so we can run it straight into our older 42" television in the living room and everyone can enjoy Netflix, Hulu, whatever! It's awesome!
