Pros: I've had 2 of these drives for bit over a year now, and just bought a 3rd. Quite fast for a 5400rpm (60-70MB/s eSATA write speed with large files). Great for backups, and large video/CAD project files. Can't beat the price for size, performance and reliability.

Cons: None so far! I don't use any of that SMART monitoring stuff, so I don't have to deal with the possible bad block problem that some have reported. I also use them as external drives, and installing the firmware requires them to be the Master Drive (internal) when patching.

Overall Review: I really hope that Seagate keeps all of Samsung's manufacturing techniques and quality controls in place, since Seagate HDDs are pretty lousy.

Pros: Excellent quality discs. Supposedly the AZO technology allows for extended archival life without buying those gold discs, and that's a feature I need. I think I might buy another spindle while it's 20% off!

Cons: 2 coasters out of >20 used, but I'm 99% sure that it was because of my external USB burner or Imgburn, not the actual discs.

Overall Review: Imgburn automatically burns these discs at 4x even when it's set to MAX speed; maybe manually setting it to 8x would work. I'd rather it takes a little extra time and makes sure it writes every bit correctly though, so this doesn't bother me.

Pros: Works just fine! Will sometimes actually outperform my EVGA 9800GTX+ in Folding@Home for some reason, and adds 60% more fps to many games. Also, this card is roughly 0.5" shorter than my EVGA, which worked great for me because my mid-tower is a little tight for space.

Cons: Probably more because of SLI itself rather than this specific card, but for some reason Riv*Tun*r can no longer control the fan speeds on either card anymore. EVGA Precision works fine, so it's not a big deal. Also, this card runs ~5-8C hotter than my EVGA even though the EVGA is in the primary slot. It's probably because the PCB is smaller. Still, temps aren't a big problem, even in my mid-tower.

Overall Review: Temps ran pretty hot for the first few days, but then they dropped significantly. I guess the heatsink paste had to cure. This card only uses one 6-pin PCI-E power plug.

Pros: There are so many I can't count them all. 1. They aren't lying about the battery life. When I'm just taking notes in class, with camera, bluetooth and WLAN disabled, I get 11.5 hours of battery life! With WLAN on, I still get over 9 hours. 2. LED backlight is great- bright enough on the third lowest setting indoors 3. Hard drive is huge for a machine that's not really intended for video playback 4. Just as fast as a normal laptop 5. multi-touch scrolling/zooming is efficient and useful 6. There is a button to turn off the screen when you're not using it. As soon as you hit a key, you're back! 7. keyboard feels almost like a normal one- takes a few minutes to get used to, especially if your main computer is a desktop 8. lots more (and I don't work for Asus, either :P)

Cons: No DVD/CD drive might be a problem for some people, but you can download Alcohol 52% and create an ISO and put it on an SD card, which this netbook can use. - I'm thinking the WLAN might not be as powerful as one you might find in a regular $1000 laptop, but it's fairly fast even when connectivity is low.

Overall Review: Seriously worth the $$. Can't do any better than this.
