Pros: - Speed is what you would expect with 3200 MHz, CL14 ram - Slotted into my Gigabyte Aorus X470 Gaming Mobo and ran without a hiccup - Bought for its looks, and in my LianLi PC-001 Dynamic case they look incredible

Cons: - The software that controls the RGB lights is poor at best. No integration with any of the more popular light control software. Will watch as G.Skill improves the software (hopefully). - Can't really take an egg away cause they totally meet my expectations.

Overall Review: - Would love to see all these component manufacturers get together and integrate their RGB light control software so that most of these items can be controlled from 1 piece of software.

Pros: When it works, it is a sight to see. All the parts sometimes worked but.....

Cons: Flakey from the start. Bought it in Nov '18 and from get go the bios would not stay stable, every few days it would spontaneously reset the bios to base and I had to go in and reset it to a working preference. Updated bios to F41, following instructions on the website and within a few days ... poof, won't boot. Debug lights telling me that ram is bad, cpu is bad, Changed out ram, changed out cpu, tested power supply, video card in another system, all good. The cost in new parts almost is enough to build another system altogether. Waiting on Gigabyte support to get back to me..... not happy to say the least.

Overall Review: Have had bad luck with motherboards from several manufacturers lately. seems QA is severly lacking in manufacturing these days, based on my experience ....

Pros: -Fast, for the use I have for it. - Using Acronis True image to clone the drive is a snap, and the process only took 15 minutes, slightly longer than the actual drive swap in my laptop. - Laptop now feels faster and smoother operations overall, in spite of running Win 10 on it.

Cons: -Samsung cloning software is not up to snuff.... will only recognize C: drive to clone. Can't recognize any other drives I wanted to clone and replace. Had to go to 3rd party cloning software. nit picking now.... - Would be nice if they had included a 2.5mm spacer, as most 2.5" mechanical hard drives I have run into are 9mm tall, while this unit is 7mm tall. Just an inconvenience to have to go find a spacer.

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend upgrading your laptop with a SSD if you currently have a mechanical HD inside. Just make sure the physical size matches closely (or you have the customizing parts on hand). Actual memory size should be equal to or greater than what you are replacing to make the job easy. Watch for sales, new tech coming out in 16/17 could put this on sale, that would be a great time to grab one and upgrade.

Pros: Easy to assemble, Asus included assembly instructions (aside from manual) were very easy to follow. Manual is very well done. All parts slid together so easily, was a dream to assemble the new comp. Flashing the BIOS was a breeze, just follow the instructions. Love then 5 year warranty from Asus, peace of mind all over.

Cons: Almost too easy to build a personal computer nowadays...

Overall Review: Load this bad boy up with 32 GB of GSKILL F3-2133C9Q-32GXH memory, a fast video card, and the latest and greatest Ivy Bridge processor and you'll have a machine that is good for longer than the 5 year warranty you get with the mobo. Your data hard drives may not last that long.
