Pros: It works with mac (I'm using 10.4.11) out of the box, works with iChat and Skype

Cons: Manual focus & poor picture quality (though probably average for a webcam) The drivers/software on the website for this camera list as being for OSX, but they're actually for OS9. Thus, I can't use any of the software that lets you adjust the image.

Overall Review: I'm satisfied with the purchase, since it was exactly what I wanted - a cheap webcam that works on a Mac. Would have liked to get full functionality out of the software, but that's not a dealbreaker here.

Cons: Overheating problems due to the heatsink not being fastened tightly enough

Overall Review: I was able to fix the overheating problem for the most part by simply tightening the screws which attach the heatsink to the card. HOWEVER, if you attempt this, be careful because the screws are very easy to break if you overtighten - they just twist apart. I broke two screws off through what did not seem like excessive force, and I now have the FET heatsink held on with a binder clip. However, even with the missing screws, the tightening procedure lowered my temperatures 10-20 degrees C.
