Solid Performer, Exceeded my expectations
Pros: Absolutely stellar performance, I can't say enough about how this exceeded my expectations. Total power draw at rails when maxed in VR has been about 345 watts, lower than other series
Cons: None noted yet, it's a BIG card but came with a bracket to support it. I have a full size tower so no problem for me.
Overall Review: I am getting every bit of performance I expected. I use the product for VR on my G2 and previous generations never really gave the experience I had expected, this card certainly does. Do I wish the card was less money? Of course, but I was able to get it at retail/msrp which fwiw is less than some of the 30 series cards are still selling for and the 4080 seems to lap it. So, good thermals, power draw (I have a 5800x and 750w power supply, no problems). If you need the performance and are on the fence, I hope you get the same experience I did, which has been fantastic!
Nice Case but there is NO WARRANTY and NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Pros: Nice looking case, nice design, installation was a breeze! Stays nice and cool, even with only 2 of the 3 front fans working.
Cons: Like others have said, the manufacturer does not respond to emails. Newegg will accept a return, but that means you'll be taking your whole PC apart, is that what you want? I didn't. I
Overall Review: DIYPC did initially agree to replace the bad fan, but never shipped and now just ignores BOTH my and newegg's emails, as mentioned above, if you have a problem, you'll be left to take whole thing apart and ship back or just eat the cost / purchase and deal with on your own. In my opinion, vendors like this blemish Newegg's reputation and I probably won't shop anymore. A same indeed.
Solid performer, no problem and excellent performance / thermals
Pros: Installed all without a hitch. XMP profile and settings in bios a breeze. Thermals are excellent, I have an AIO and quite fans, I don't even hear the chipset fan. This board seems to push the CPU as expected, similar CPU/5800x in another system not quite as strong a performer as this one.. excellent board.
Cons: None yet
Overall Review: If your looking for a solid performer at this price range, just do it. The features provided for this price, I found I'd have to pay more to get what I have here. What can I say, solid!!
Just flat out awesome! Just plain fast and a powerhouse
Pros: Swapped out a previous generation CPU into a new motherboard and had no/zero problems, updated to new bios. Having had 2 other generations, I can tell you what you read about these being hot is *absolutely true* m7 5800x is cooled by a 240mm Corsair AIO and while it gets into 70's gaming it'll reach low 80's when testing or workloads such as rendering. These temperatures appear as designed, the CPU idles below 40 and the system cools quickly when work or gaming stops. I would recommend to those who want the best and are using good cooling, be it air or AIO/Liquid.. I think you'll be happy.
Cons: Not a con, I was initially shocked about temperatures compared to previous generations.. this ISN'T a previous generation and it's as designed.
Overall Review: Totally recommend, no hesitation.
