Pros: Let's me hook up a second monitor on my Mac laptop with little or no work

Cons: Seems to confuse my system. Several times when I have disconnected and used the laptop without either external monitor, it gets confused, seems to think one is still attached, and shows me a screen without the menu bar. This requires me to reboot to fix. Not a happy thing!!
