Overall amazing case with only a couple minor issues

Rosewill Neutron – Mini Tower Computer Case – Gaming Cube – Supports Mini-ITX M/B – Supports Standard PS/2 PSU – Supports Up to 13.3” (340 mm) VGA Cards & Up to 6 Fans
Rosewill Neutron – Mini Tower Computer Case – Gaming Cube – Supports Mini-ITX M/B – Supports Standard PS/2 PSU – Supports Up to 13.3” (340 mm) VGA Cards & Up to 6 Fans

Pros:Β The biggest selling point of this case is the absolute massive amount of airflow and cooling options for a mITX build. It's big for an mITX, but that's a plus if you plan on putting large, high end components inside. You're able to fit large water cooling systems, and large air cooling cpu solutions with room to spare.

Cons:Β There is really only one con I can think of with this case, and it's that gpu's with larger coolers can get suffocated due to the clearance of the window panel. My Gigabyte Windforce GTX 760 did fine, as it's a true two slot card, but my new MSI R9 390 just doesn't get enough air. This card has a 2.5, almost 3 slot cooler, and it simply doesn't get enough air around the card to keep it cooled. The front intake fans of the case are offset to the right, and primarily cool the motherboard and power supply area of the case, and don't supply the gpu fan intake with any fresh air. For now I've removed the side panel entirely to keep the card cool. With the panel on, the card reaches almost 90c, off, and the card stays 60c or less, playing games like GTAV and Ark: Survival Evolved. I plan on either adding an 80 or 92mm fan mounted at an angle to blow fresh air to the card, or 3d print a new insert for the window and remove the acrylic. The gpu cooling issue is the only reason I've docked an egg. One other minor thing is the supplied 140mm intake fans can be a little loud. I don't think it's an issue of the fans themselves, rather where the case material is in front of them causing turbulence. I've had this issue in other cases, and removing the extra material fixes it. I'm just not going to cut this one up.

Overall Review:Β The cons do not detract from the value of the case in the slightest. I've owned many cases throughout the years, cheap ones and expensive ones. This is by far my favorite out of the bunch. I have the case filled with: ASRock Z97E-ITX/ac i5 4690k @ 4.2ghz Phanteks PH-TC14S cpu cooler 16gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3 Corsair RM750 psu MSI R9 390 Gaming x2 hhd's x2 Hynix ssd's x2 14mm fans (included) x4 120mm fans

Most Critical Review

good sound, but terribly uncomfortable

Logitech Premium 350 USB Connector Circumaural Headset
Logitech Premium 350 USB Connector Circumaural Headset

Pros:Β great sound, with decent bass response. i can hook my bass guitar to my comp and get no distortion with these. mic works just fine for me. i noticed with my X-Fi Xtreme Music on game mode the mic tends to pick up my mouse clicks.

Cons:Β insanely uncomfortable. after an hour or so it feels like their trying to smash your head in. if you wear glasses it's that much more uncomfortable. if they had larger, softer pads, ones that completely circled the ear, i would give these a 5 star rating.

Overall Review:Β i actually have the non plat version, the ones with the 2 plugs. one for the sound and one for the mic. but the main characteristics are pretty much the same.

Pretty good for the price

BenQ GL2760H 27" Full HD 1920 x 1080 60Hz VGA DVI HDMI Low Blue Light Flicker-Free Backlit LED LCD Monitor
BenQ GL2760H 27" Full HD 1920 x 1080 60Hz VGA DVI HDMI Low Blue Light Flicker-Free Backlit LED LCD Monitor

Pros:Β Large screen, clear and sharp, great price.

Cons:Β Maybe it's my panel in particular, but there is some significant ghosting in fast paced games. It's far worse on this screen compared to my old 8ms monitor. In games like War Thunder it's bad enough that I see two planes when I'm chasing someone. Also on desktop applications it's very hitchy when moving Windows around. When I move them over to my old screen it's perfectly fine. Move back to this one and it lags a lot. I've experienced this with both dvi and hdmi.

Overall Review:Β I still like this monitor even with the issues I have, enough that I'd like a couple more for matching surround screens.

Card works as intended! *Review revision*

Intel EXPI9301CTBLK Network Adapter 10/100/1000Mbps PCI-Express 1 x RJ45
Intel EXPI9301CTBLK Network Adapter 10/100/1000Mbps PCI-Express 1 x RJ45

Pros:Β It just works.

Cons:Β Only my stupidity.

Overall Review:Β Earlier I wrote a review stating that this NIC would not fit in my GA-990FXA-UD5 motherboard. While it does in fact not fit in the pci-e x1 slot due to the northbridge cooling, I had completely forgotten about the compatibility with other pci-e slots. Right now the card is quietly doing it's thing a few slots under my GTX 760. Works great in a x8 slot!

Amazing mouse with a couple caveats.

Logitech G300 Black/Grey 9 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical Gaming Mouse
Logitech G300 Black/Grey 9 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical Gaming Mouse

Pros:Β Very good tracking, buttons still working well after a year, lighting is pleasing, Logitech quality.

Cons:Β Very lightweight, bottom isn't perfectly flat and causes the mouse to rock slightly.

Overall Review:Β I love this mouse. I've had it for probably two years now, and even though I have others, I always go back to this one. I love the shoulder buttons, I use them all in basically every game I play. I didn't know if I'd like them at first because of the layout (I was used to side buttons previously), but now I find them indispensable and I won't buy another mouse unless they have the same configuration. The only issues I've ever had are minor, mine has a slight rock to it because the bottom isn't perfectly flat, even after years of use, and the mouse is so lightweight that the cord hanging off the desk is enough to drag it around. It is a small mouse and will be claw grip for anyone except those with the smallest of small hands. I have a 9" finger span and every mouse is claw grip to me, so I can't complain about that. It looks like you probably can't buy this on the Egg anymore, but if you can find it, definitely buy it.

Ok for now

XFX CORE Edition Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card FX-777A-ZNF4
XFX CORE Edition Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card FX-777A-ZNF4

Pros:Β Low power consumption, good looking, decent performance, Crossfire scaling is good.

Cons:Β Expensive compared to the performance you receive. Doesn't perform quite as expected.

Overall Review:Β This is an update to my first review. I finally did receive the cards, now I'm just waiting for the Egg to refund my shipping costs. I bought these cards mainly for SWTOR. My old 5770 just couldn't handle that game at 1080p. These do a better job of it, I'm able to max the game out and keep a respectable framerate (maxed at 60 with vsynch most of the time). The game itself is poorly optimized, so it fluctuates wildly sometimes. PvP is another matter, it lags quite bad in warzones. Performance in other games isn't quite so well. My "go-to" shooter right now is Black Ops, and I've actually seen a decrease in performance with that game. I haven't had a chance to pick up BF3 yet, so I can't give any word there. I'm hoping that the issue is drivers and will get sorted out soon. As of right now we're stuck with pre-certified drivers, the current version being 12.2 on AMD's site (which is odd considering I got 12.3 from them a week ago, which is currently installed).
