Pros: Effortless install and cloning with Acronis downloaded software. Took a few minutes to install and a few minutes to clone. After cloning completed, restarted and entered BIOS. Reset Boot to new NVME, saved and exited. Don't think it could have been any easier. If the prices go down will do it again with a larger NVME.
Cons: No problems encountered. Easy install with Gigabyte motherboard. Really sweet that the motherboard has the heatsinks already on it.
Overall Review: Highly recommend!
Pros: Never posted, could not see 9th gen CPU. Can't believe two boards are dead, more likely they were sent out not ready for the 9th gen CPU's.
Cons: Could have tried an earlier CPU but why? Why should a buyer have to go to such extremes to get a brand new mother board to post? Makes no sense to me so I sent the second one back for my refund.
Overall Review: Purchased a Gigabyte board, booted right up. Posted and installed Windows 10 Pro with no issues. In fact this is being posted with my new desktop. Major upgrade from my 7 year old desk top computer, also a Gigabyte build.
Pros: Seems to keep the laptop from getting hot. However I haven't really taxed it yet.
Cons: Concerned about the simple tab to hold my laptop in place. Seems it could be better.
Overall Review: Silent
But pay attention to the clip that holds it up.
Pros: This oven is so good I purchased 4. The first one stopped working after over a year of constant use. So without hesitation I purchased a second. Then Newegg had it on a shell shocker so I purchased two more for backups. You stick a 12 inch frozen pizza in and set it for 400 degrees timer on 20 mins. When the timer go's off rotate the pizza 180 degrees and set the timer for 15 minutes. When the timer go's off again you get to enjoy a perfect pizza right out of the oven every single time. It's small enough to set on top of one of those roll around carts which I keep by my computer desk. 18 inches wide by 14 inches deep by 12 inches tall. Before opening the glass door, open the bottom crumb tray to support the door. Prevents any possible damage to the door hinges.
Overall Review: If you love gaming or running software programs on your computer set up a snack and beverage center by your desk. Get one of these ovens they are great. Add a personal ice maker, coffee maker, coffee grinder, microwave, rice cooker, egg cooker and you can make hundreds of snacks and beverages without having to get up so many times except for the ingredients, all I need is a maid lololol. Love Newegg!
Pros: Since it became obvious that the internet was riddled with hackers and people who wanted to hurt you I started using antivirus software. Over the past thirty years I have tried every retail software available. Some were alright but wanted to take over your computer. Some gave false indications. Some were a total waste of money. We all know it's dangerous using the internet, however you can not function is this day and age without it. I always back up my hard drive and always use protection on my computers. I can't remember how many times I was forced to format a hard drive because of malicious attacks by hackers. But since I started using ESET Security I have not had to format a single drive because of attacks. Granted they are very expensive but well worth the cost. I have 4 software packages waiting to be used. If you buy them when they are on sale the cost is nominal. Newegg can't be beat on their shell shocker sales. Their service is also the best in the industry. Don't wait for the attack, be prepared and laugh about it instead of crying and swearing wishing you had prepared.
Overall Review: Trust me on this review you wont regret it!
Pros: The biggest pro of this tablet is price. I was going to get a wacko tablet next year. Those prices are so freaking high I knew getting one of those this year was not going to happen. I've dabbled in art all my life but using a computer with graphics programs is a huge leap in abilities that I'm dying to try.
Cons: Installed the drivers before connecting the tablet to my desktop. LOL, the tablet was dead, it really concerned me, did I get a lemon? So I uninstalled the software, restarted the computer and the tablet now works.
Overall Review: This is my first tablet so I really can't give an honest evaluation of it's performance. Being an old man with multiple medical problems my hands shake and the tablet really picks that up. Other than reducing the sensitivity. The only solution that I can think of is doing pencil and paper sketches then scanning the sketches to the programs and working from there. That hopefully will at least give me a decent starting point for the tablet. But I'm really excited about having it and finally get to learn and use all of the graphics programs I've purchased. Thanks newegg for coming through for me once again. Newegg rocks! :)
Pros: Every single tool in this set is some of the best craftsmanship I've ever seen.
Cons: The case was not made properly and the 3/8" and 1/2" ratchets don't sit well, they flop around. Which would not be a major problem accept some of the sockets came loose and scratched about a fourth of the tools. I would give this a 4 star but the tools are really excellent quality.
Overall Review: We have all been in a situation where you can't find that second socket or second ratchet, or your sockets just won't fit where they need to go. This set is an incredible value. Buy it, you wont be disappointed.
Pros: Thin walled 6 point sockets. Look the entire set is as good or better than most name brand sets you buy off the tool trucks.
Overall Review: Worked as a dealership mechanic before I was forced to retire because of disabilities. Have spent thousands of dollars on those name brand tools. If your concerned about the name or where they were made don't be. Buy these tools you wont be disappointed. I was so pleased with their 1/4" set I purchased the 3/8" set and the 1/2, 3/8, 1/4 combination set as well. The only thing I was disappointed with was the combination set case was not made properly, the 1/2" and 3/8" ratchets do not sit in the case as they should, some of the sockets got loose and rattled around scratching about a fourth of the tools in the case. But all of the tools are top notch and I can't fault any of them.
Pros: Excellent craftsmanship, mirror finish, six sided sockets, every size you could ever want for a 1/4 set.
Very nice case to keep all items organized and easy to find.
Overall Review: Have worked on automobiles for over 50 years, retired as a dealership mechanic. Have spent thousands of dollars on tools.
My Snap On, Mac and other professional tools are no better than these some not even as good as. If your concerned about were they are made, don't be, if you get a chance to buy these tools and need them don't pass them up. I just purchased the 3/8th set can't wait to get them. Extremely happy with the purchase.
Pros: For over 35 years I have been building and programming my own computers. Back then a 60gig HD was considered very big, 16megs ram cost over 400 dollars, and a motherboard required about 20 jump cables and considerable knowledge programming with DOS commands. For over 6 years I have used EVGA graphics cards. I purchased a GTX285 for 418 dollars. That's right a 512meg card for over 400 dollars. It has worked flawlessly for that entire time after an RMA on the original purchase. I pray this upgrade will also last over 6 years. I noticed a marked improvement of picture quality right away. Did some gaming for about an hour and very pleased with the performance. Technology has made great advancements and the prices continue to drop. Buying a graphics card that is at least 4 times better for 75% of the cost does not take a high IQ to figure it out. Oh, the GTX285 that it's replacing still works, I'm RMAing it because the fan bearing is starting to make noise.
Cons: As it's only less that 1 day old there are none. It installed easily. Had to install drivers before I could use it, normal operation. The fans at 100% do sound like a turbine starting up I will admit. At 50% speed they are silent and my GPU temp stayed at about 27C so I really doubt I'll ever need to increase the fan speed.
Overall Review: Over the years I have tried many manufacturers graphics cards, the reason I have stayed with EVGA is because they are one of the best. I will admit it took a little more effort on my part to get the RMA for the GTX285, however their support phone line worked all the kinks out I was running into. You will not regret buying this card. Make sure you register it.
Pros: Protects very expensive equipment. A whole lot cheaper than the cost and all the crying you will do when your system dies because you didn't buy it. Have never has a problem with anything hooked up to these.
Cons: Still a bit pricy. Haven't gotten past 3 years on the battery packs. This is the 5th UPS I have purchased. Will not operate my equipment without them. Utilities can not be trusted, brown outs, total failures, lightning strikes. Battery packs cost 50% of a new unit. They really need to lower this.
Overall Review: Do not put anything on these things like a fan or motor. A short will totally destroy the output MOSFETS.
Pros: Cheap and keeps the SSD from flopping around.
Cons: None really, it's plastic but does what it is supposed to do.
Pros: No longer waiting for computer to start or programs to load. Windows 7 saw the drive and installed drivers, however had to go into BIOS and make a couple of changes for it to actually see the drive. I have been building and programing my own computers for over 30 years. This is my first SSD. A little rusty on procedures so entered Help to format 1TB drive. Followed instructions and everything went smoothly. Cloned drive with free DriveClone11. Size of drive now changed to less than 330gigs. Reentered Create and Format hard disk partition. Clicked Computer Management. Right clicked drive then clicked expand space. Restarted PC and it now reads 931gigs. Extremely happy with Mushkin Enhanced Reactor Drive. Hope it lasts at least the 3year warranty period without any problems. Oh disconnected the HD I cloned but left it in the case just in case.
Cons: Still a bit pricy but worth every dollar spent.
Overall Review: Would recommend doing a slow format on a new drive.
Pros: It works!
Overall Review: Did a slow format on both and so far they work.
Pros: Features on this keyboard are great. Very glad I purchased two.
Overall Review: Update - Ordered two one was bad. Attempted to do an RMA shipping label. Wanted over $18. Made no sense to pay $18 to get a replacement. Another order came in different item. Was not a new item, was very upset and decided to call asking whats going on. Even though I was really bummed out about receiving two bad orders out of three Newegg came through once again with exceptional customer service. Took about 5 minutes to get both items returned and replaced for free. As I said in the first review, Newegg is the best. And Gigabyte still has my respect as a quality manufacturer. Will gladly continue to do business with both in the future.
Pros: It does not take over your computer like so many other antivirus programs do.
Overall Review: I've been using ESET on all 3 of my computers now for over 3 years. Before buying it I would occasionally get a virus and would be forced to format my hard drive. Since installing ESET all attacks have been stopped. Not once have I had to format a corrupted hard drive. ESET also notifies you when your ISP port is under attack. No other program I have installed did that. I can't say enough about ESET. Price is a bit high but your peace of mind is worth it, isn't it?
Pros: They are exactly as advertized.
Pros: From my experience good customer phone service.
Geez it finally came out.
Cons: No play offline = slave to server.
Server lags and crashes.
Authentication system fails and wont accept the codes.
Having to make phone calls to get things working again.
Forcing players to buy things with real money to be able to play.
Etc. Etc. Epic Failure!
Overall Review: Why in the world would Blizzard do this to their loyal customers? If Blizzard doesn't come out with a free patch to correct all of this games problems it will die. Wake up and listen to the players or you will loose them forever. Gone back to D2 until someone comes out with a good game or Blizzard wakes up and makes D3 everything D2 was. That's right I said it, make the game at least as good as D2 and I'd be happy with just that. As the game is it's poison and slowly killing the Blizzard fan base!
Pros: Gamers delight! I like to play with lights low and this keyboard is easy to use in subdued lighting. Third one Ive purchased from Newegg. All three working great. If one gos bad i will replace with the same model.
Pros: What can I say it does exactly what it's supposed to do!
Overall Review: First one arrived DOA. It never even did it's start up function. Sent it back for another. Item discontinued so got a full refund. Saw it again and decided to give it another try. Glad I did cause it works great. As always Newegg Rocks, they have the best service of any online company.
Cons: Purchases 4 sets of these from Newegg. One went bad. Got an RMA and sent 2 back because they wouldn't accept just the bad one. So far no returned memory. One of my computers is down 2 gigs. All I get from Corsair is emails giving me the run around. Never again Corsair, you lost a good customer. Don't make the same mistake I made they will not honor their lifetime warranty.
Pros: Crystal clear sound. Great range and great bass. In fact I like the Skullcandy in ear buds so much I've stopped using headphones for gaming entirely. For me they are an upgrade for the PC's.
Fast RMA's from skullcandy.com
Overall Review: I have tried many types of headphones and manufacturers. After many years of different types I've come to one conclusion. Skullcandy makes the best and there warranty cant be any better. If you want the best you owe it to yourself to buy or at least try Skullcandy out. I promise you don't know what you've been missing until you do. Once you do you wont ever go back to the others.
Pros: None that I can think of.
Cons: Thought I'd keep an open mind and at least try it. Gave error messages, could not restore backup or do anything it's supposed to do.
Overall Review: Please do not depend on this software for what it's designed for. Only thing it's good for is a coaster. Thank goodness I checked it out before really needing it!
Pros: Fast and does everything for you cept bring you a drink.
Did I say it was fast, geez i usually have to wait for the PC, now it waits for me LOL!
Cons: Cant think of any at the moment.
Wheres the refund for the previous OS system? Sorry but i still feel robbed over that entire ordeal :(!
Expensive but well worth it as long as it works right.
Overall Review: After going through 4 builds that failed miserably with You Know What. The expense, the headaches, the hair loss, sleepless nights. Geez im glad they finally got it right, I was seriously thinking of going to other O systems, so much time and money wasted over a product that never should have been sold in the first place.
Pros: Extremely fast and underrated. Working at 3.7gigs no overclocking.
Cons: Cant think of any.
Overall Review: Simple install, used Artic Silver.
