Just what the doctor ordered!
Pros: - Size - Manufacturer - Price Fast delivery
Cons: - There is no 4-pin PWM cable that comes with the card. Still works although I am probably missing out on some feature, using DC instead of PWM i do not think is a game breaker. - mounting the card inside of a drive bay isn't a big deal, but makes it less accessible.
Overall Review: - Asus should pack these bad boys in all of their supported mobo's!
Perfect solution
Pros: Price, and form factor were aspects that I needed in a solution for mounting a spare nvme drive.
Overall Review: I've tried external USB 3 tube shaped products, but they didn't work properly for many read/ write operations and eventually died. This product even has RGB, so if you like that stuff you're set. 😜 I'd buy this again as it saves money from switching to a motherboard that has multiple M.2 slots.
Simply gorgeous
Overall Review: I mean how can you go wrong with RGB right, and then add 3600 mhz speed is beautiful.
Nice kit
Pros: Slick design, two different usb cables A-C and C-C, thermal pad, mounting screws and screw driver.
Cons: None
Overall Review: This is a perfect compliment to my usb enclosure options as I prepare for my Windows 11 upgrade to a new fresh NVME drive in the near future.
This is Lit
Pros: Price. Can be daisy chained together. Great quality of materials used. Plenty of cables. Came with a fan hub! Works on an MSI b450 using JRGB header.
Cons: Instructions suck.
Overall Review: These fans are really good and have allowed me to improve the system airflow. Plus, the real reason, was so add some light into my system. Not really about the product but for reference to other buyers, you need to run iCue and MSI dragon to control the fans and ram separately. The video card is of course different, and somewhat expected.
Extra storage solution
Pros: - sleek design- relatively fast- good price- 5 drive bays can mix 2.5 and 3.5 disks
Cons: It is noisy as other say, but that's of little concern as I plugged this into my synology NAS via an USB 3 cable which sits in my basement.
Overall Review: I looked for something like this to have my drives which weren't being used, and would cost me way more for separate enclosures in order to connect up. With my synology NAS I get 16tb and adding in my extras I end up with almost 24tb. Configuring this enclosure as such I can use the NAS features to backup my most important folders to other storage since the disks show up as separate.
Backup storage galore
My use case is simple, get all of my unused drives cleaned up and put to good use. I have a 4bay synology NAS, so I bought this unit to plug into the back of the NAS through the USB 3 port. Configured the individual drives as separate network shares. I know the fan can be noisy when the drives are being accessed, but it wasn't a problem for me as all my IT stuff sits in the furnace room. All I needed was a good multidisk enclosure that gets all messy with so many cables. I'm using 3 out of the 5 bays that gives me another 6TB.
Still waiting
Though this was a good bargain, ordered April 6th. Tracking number provided states China as place of origin, my bad for not realizing it at checkout. The number provided doesn't tell you more than that information, useless. Safe to say, that I won't buy anything from this seller ever again! I pray that my product works after being in transit for so long.
