CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750 W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Great power supply. Bought May 2011. 9 years of service. Maybe finally on it's way out. READ CON.

Cons: None. BUT I have an issue. After 9 years of use my computer has suddenly started to shutdown and reboot itself randomly. This occurs only when playing PC games. The reboot goes through without issue and computer works as normal. How Random is random? I can play a PC game anywhere from 30 mins to 5 hours and it can occur at any time during that period. Sometimes not at all. Tried testing if it was a graphics card issue. Took out my GTX 1060 put in an old radeon 6870 HD and the issue didn't happen until 3 weeks later. Did the test again with ATI 5870 HD, no problems until a couple weeks later where the issue of powering off and rebooting happened again. So If this indeed a power supply problem I have no way of proving unless I had a second PSU to test it with. That is my biggest con is I just don't know. And it's hard to commit to buying a replacement when it may be a different problem.

Overall Review: PLEASE READ CON. 10/10 would buy again.

My card might be defective.

Pros: The card handles games well. With the right driver.

Cons: Fan is loud when it runs high.

Overall Review: I've only had the card for a couple weeks. One day I turn my computer on same as normal and the card just starts running loud the fan was at 50%. The card is at 40C and climbing when running idle. While typing this it's gone up 3 degress C. I set the fan to default so it has to run high to keep it cool when it didn't before. All of a sudden.
