Pros: I got this due to the reviews that I have seen on this little guy and I was blown away, this mere dual core rips an Athlon ii x4 635 a new one in general computing and in games which do not require a quad. I tested this compared to the Athlon setup, all settings the same, mobo was changed to accommodate but otherwise the same and here is what I went from and to. WoW, in the same spot I was getting 44fps and it shot up to 81fps...but when I overclocked this to ONLY 3.8, that went higher by 15fps! Other areas was from 47fps to 100fps! Dragon Age Inquisition....yes you heard right, this ran right out of the bat, it loads very slowly but once in game it ran in a very playable frame rate, typically no less than 30fps in game and averages 40+, this is on HIGH settings and on 900p, the GPU used was a 768MB GTX 460. I am currently a few Celsius from 60 when playing WoW, stock cooler and paste, I have a 80mm case fan blowing at it while the temp of the room is typically 70F-72F. Overclocking it was done on an MSI H81M-P33 board, I just changed the speed and nothing else to hit 3.8, I bet I can do the same for 4.0GHz. This thing when paired with an SSD boots like a speed demon, I am super impressed by Intel on this wolf in sheep's clothing, got it for only $62! Has the "better" stock cooler which has a copper core that makes contact with the CPU.

Cons: It is ONLY a dual core, it will hit a ceiling very quickly if you want to run multiple programs or very advanced gaming.

Overall Review: Steer clear if you are into heavy gaming but you will not be looking at this if you were in the first place, this makes for an EXCELLENT entry and low mid-range gaming computer. If you want to see how good this little thing is, just look it up on your tube, it competes very well in gaming considering the price that it is.

Pros: I got this while having a main desktop setup for my main gaming needs, this laptop is meant to do quick gaming on the go while also being suitable for my college work. This is a budget laptop, make no mistake that cuts had to be made, but what makes this laptop worthy of five stars in my opinion? Well here is the quick rundown: Dedicated graphics that are above a lot of other offerings at a similar price range, this packs GDDR5 which helps immensely, I ran World of Warcraft and got anywhere from 40-60fps, I could get more if I lowered the res as this was at 1080p and with plenty of options ticked on. It handles Overwatch at 1080p, medium and texture scaling to 75% and bring home 50-60fps, at this price you won't find this kind of performance. Intel i5U, even though this is not a high end processor, it does get any daily tasks done, including normal gaming. 8GB of ram is DDR4! It is generally lightweight for it's size, build quality is also above average but not spectacular, the plastic is a nice finish and the wrist area is this fake metallic kind, it looks low key and is tasteful. 1080p screen at this price can be hard to find, even in 2016.

Cons: Despite giving it five stars, there are minor points to consider but none that I was not aware of previously. They are nothing major in my book. The graphics card, yes it was a pro with it being with GDDR5 but it's memory bandwidth is only 64bit, meaning gaming on it's native res of 1080p can be straining it, however if you tone the res to 900p or 768p, you will be golden to add some extra details that you would otherwise not get. The 1080p screen is average at best, viewing angles are okay, colors are not as vibrant but not bad by any means. The keyboard is not back-lit, I knew this beforehand but worth pointing out. The 1TB drive is the 5200rpm type, so be prepared for some loading wait times. The USB ports on the left side are VERY close together, having two devices plugged in at the same time will be a challenge, if possible at all.

Overall Review: I always mentioned that at this price range that this laptop is hard to beat, I got this for $450, free shipping and got it just over 24 hours later (Amazing but it shipped from next door, IL to OH, so your times will vary). This is a budget gaming laptop, and I welcome the performance that I got for my dollars. Looking around at the price range, you won't find anything with similar specs, considering the CPU is among the newest, 6th gen. The GPU is quite a rarity among the sea of 840M/940M's which are DDR3 and common in this price range and even above it. The laptop's cooling is decent and not loud at all when gaming, battery life seems to be good, at least 3 hour for browsing and the likes (will update if note otherwise). I am happy with my purchase, and will recommend this to anyone who needs the advantage of a graphics card to play some games on the go.

Pros: Came within 48 hours, I was worried of it due to being refurbished but my concerns were cast away when I plugged it in, I was getting download and upload speeds very similar to my cable connection, this is in an apartment complex with many devices and connections. Dual-band is a must these days due to WiFi clutter.

Cons: No drivers of any kind, they tell you to go to the site for the drivers but...what if you needed the WiFI to work to connect? It was not an issue for me as I had my PC connected but it can pose as a problem to others, keep this in mind.

Overall Review: None really, works %100 like it is supposed to, no drops in the WiFi unlike several others I have purchased (and returned).

Pros: This laptop is very thin and quite light, making it a joy to carry around in my travels. It packs enough CPU performance with the Intel i5U and the dedicated graphics makes it capable of CASUAL gaming (see more in the thoughts). 1080p screen is crisp and clear for text. The hybrid drive really speeds things up vs the plain mechanical drive some of the Y models have (like the i7 one), beware...a normal and slow 5400 RPM drive can make things seem like a crawl.

Cons: The graphics card is severely hamstrung by the DDR3 memory, the 1080p screen while not bad, is not the best I have seen, but by far not a strong weakness. The WASD keys can get hot in heavy gaming, but they keys themselves keep a bit cooler.

Overall Review: The common mistake is that since this is a gaming laptop, people expect it to run games on ultra on native res, let me say it here and now, it won't. The DDR3 memory in the graphics card ensures of that and to a lesser extent, the ULV i5. BUT it can game all current games if you get the settings right, like Dragon Age Inquisition, it can run buttery smooth with a bunch of low but with ultra textures, World Of Warcraft can run fine too with some extra eye candy turned off. The build quality and styling is top notch, it feels very sturdy and it is nice to look at! While refurbished, mine came like if it was brand new, I have zero complaints and am very happy with my purchase, I am a new Lenovo fan here.

Pros: I have a micro ATX case and this fits in just fine, I hear no coil whine from it and the fan seems to be reasonably quiet. It performs almost like an R9 270 (non X). Has 2gb of memory, 2x DVI plugs.

Cons: Requires two 6 pin plugs and it will have no converter plugs for it, performs almost like an R9 270. Does not have any sticker to place on a case like many others do, a little plain looking front panel cover.

Overall Review: I got this to replace an Nvidia GTX 460, the performance gain in WoW while using an FX-6300 was limited, so I was CPU bound. But in games like Dragon Age Inquisition, FPS shot up from mid 40 to up to 75 (with plenty more if I overclock). You will be hard pressed to find a graphics card that performs similar in this price range.

Pros: I was quite surprised when I loaded up Crystal Disk Info on this drive, it was NEVER booted up prior to being powered up on my system, logging a total of ZERO hours of operation, it showed no errors or bad sectors. Decent speed for a mechanical drive, I got roughly 133MB/s Seq read and write. Cheap, got it for only $20 which was a good deal. This drive had the standard return policy (At the time of purchase) so I was rest assured if anything went wrong, I can return it for my money back within 30 days.

Cons: No documentation of ANY kind, nor any cables, be prepared to have your own to use! Could have been a higher capacity. Not worth knocking any eggs off.

Overall Review: While not a con it is worth mentioning that this thing has to be formatted before it will show up in my computer in windows, after that it is good to go. I got this to shore up some shortage of drive space on my SSD, this works great where I can toss some programs that do not need the speed of an SSD. This is not slow by mechanical drive standards either, which pleased me greatly. I got a refurbished drive previously and it had roughly 3 years of CONTINUOUS hours of use, this one by comparison is brand spanking new.
