G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8000CL5D-4GBPI
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8000CL5D-4GBPI

Pros: i have had nothing but problems with my Ballistix pc 8500 in my gigabyte DQ6-X38. i know a lot of the problem goes with the MB memory controller but i had numerous rma's with the ram due to errors. i popped the GSKILL's in and adjusted the voltage to 2.08, manual 5-5-5-15 at 949 mhz. system booted just fine into vista. i have been messing with different settings and different slots for months trying to get this running with the ballistix. after about 2 min to put the new ram in, it works awesome, no errors in prime95 or OCCT for 24 hours. this ram runs very cool to the touch not like other ^ brands! cant say enough good things about this ram, wish i would not have wasted time and $$ on other brands

Cons: ummmmm the fact that i didnt buy this ram over the Cru#ial Ballistix's due to reputation!!

Overall Review: if your debating on getting GSKILL or another brand, dont do it! all of the experience in the world producing ram doesnt mean jack if they aren't able to make a stable product. I will definitely buy from GSKILL again. gigabyte dq6-x38, Q6600 @ 3.2 ghz, GSkill 4gb pc 8000, evga 8800gts 512, xfi-extreme gamer

GIGABYTE GA-X38-DQ6 LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Ultra Durable 2, Ultra Cooling Intel Motherboard

Pros: very stable chipset and some what future proof. better then the hot running 680i nvidia chipsets. recognized my crucial ballistix DDR2 1066 at correct speeds and timings. this motherboard is a great over clocker. very mild 25% OC on air with no increase in temps.

Cons: none at the moment

Overall Review: system specs: -Q6600 @ 3.0 Ghz -2 GB Crucial Ballistics DDR2 1066 -8800 GTS (G92) 512MB -Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer

Antec Solution SLK3000-B Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: this thing is huge...fits all my hardware with ease...nice ventilation as well...i put an extra 120mm fan up front and an 80mm in the side to help cool the heatsink..nice finish havent had any problems with it chipping

Cons: none

Overall Review: would be nice if you had the option to screw in the 5.25 drives instead of using the metal rails....

this thing rocks

ZALMAN CNPS7700-ALCU 120mm 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan
ZALMAN CNPS7700-ALCU 120mm 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan

Pros: this thing did exactly what i wanted it to do.... this is very quiet even without the fan controller, i have it plugged into the motherboard at 2000+ rpm.. fits well in my antec case with my intel 915gag motherboard... did i say how huge this is... so far my temps are the same as my stock intel cooler (just doesnt sound like a jet engine).. waiting for the artic silver 5 to set up, hopefully a few degrees cooler

Cons: none yet

Good PSU

Rosewill RP500-2 500W ATX12V v2.01 Power Supply
Rosewill RP500-2 500W ATX12V v2.01 Power Supply

Pros: I have to say I was a bit skeptical buying this product. But after the high reviews I gave it a chance. I'm glad I did because this thing rocks. The thing just screams good quality. The finish on this is sweet. The wire leads are almost too long and there are plenty of them. The blue LED is a plus if your into that kind of thing. This thing is super quiet and I've got steady power across the board. If your looking for a very well built PSU and dont want to spend $$$ I highly recommend ROSEWILL.
