Most Critical Review

not on a HP dv7-1247cl

G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Laptop Memory Model F2-6400CL6D-8GBSQ
G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Laptop Memory Model F2-6400CL6D-8GBSQ

Pros: Price?

Cons: Did not work. Previous review stated it worked in a HP dv7 so I ordered. When I got my set it did not work. Contacted Gskill tech support. There answer was literally was "Dear customer, As we said before, some work fine, others don't. We still don't find the solution yet. Thanks. Regards," OH well, will RMA and try again.

Overall Review: It would be nice if Gskill had a compatibility matrix on their website. 2 starts was more for Newegg than this memory.

Works for me

ECS GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card GTX650TIB-2GR5-WFM
ECS GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card GTX650TIB-2GR5-WFM

Pros: I"m not the gamer I use to be. I occasionally enjoy a good game now and then between all adult life's living. This card worked great. I'm about 2 years behind any game that is sold today so it meets my needs. I needed an upgrade after my old card bit the dust. Quite, powerful enough. Is it the most powerful card on the market -- no. Is it enough for the mildly retired gamer to catch up on games that he hasn't been able to play in 2 years -- Yes.

Cons: For me, none.

Love em

Western Digital WD Green WD5000AADS 500GB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: These drives are working great. I'm a silent PC guy and they definitely are silent.

Cons: I can't understand the people who say these are slow. Widows 7 gives me a gamer rating of 5.9 on this drive. For a "green" drive that's awesome. Buy a VelociRaptor if you want speed.

Overall Review: I have 2 of these setup in a RAID 1 configuration and they are running great.
