Pros: I had Samsung HM160JI in my Dell Inspiron. Was running out of space, so I thought lest double the capacity. And the drive is perfect. No problems, no issues. Just works.

Cons: Well the 400GB and 500GB hard drive capacities are going to be released in march. Sigh.

Overall Review: I think Samsung drives are better than Western Digital as far as power dissipation goes. Laptops do not need hard drives that heat up too much (like Hitachi). This was a perfect drive, stays cool, and does not over heat the laptop. I will recommend it over WD (and hey ... its cheaper than WD).
