BEST MOUSE ON THE MARKET!
Pros: Lots of functional Buttons (32 customizable), Buttons/wheel have a good and quiet feel, analog buttons work as promised, lights make this mouse the most beautiful on the market, software options are through the roof but easily understood.
Cons: Roccat mouse are a nice size and as such may be too big if you have small hands. For me it's perfect though. PRICE! It's a new product. It's state of the art in functionality and beauty so it deserves a premium. Using it, it's worth it to me as I found a mouse product that'll hopefully last me for years!
Overall Review: I've tried just about every modern MMO mouse/gamer mouse/highly rated prosumer mouses on the market rom the likes of Logitech, Razer, Roccat, Corsair, etc. There was ALWAYS an issue that I didn't like...button placement, clickability, size, battery (wireless), durability, software bugs, weight, price/quality ratio, etc. The mouse is an all-in-one for just about any game..from MMOs to shooters. The customizability is INSANE and the buttons are larger and more intuitive than the multi-button side mouses...WAY better for MMOs! If you have the money, it's worth the splurge. It's the best all-in-one mouse on the market- bar none! (....I'll update my review if my experience changes dramatically...)
Blew After 2 Days!
Pros: Modular. Cables are marked and color coded. Decent price. Box is solid for protection.
Cons: - Fan is audible at idle (other's say it's loud at load...this could be an issue for you). -- Fan didn't turn off in idle mode. - Unreliable first unit. If the 2nd unit craps out....I'll edit this review or post another one accordingly! -- Manual is abyssmal. --No Eco mode?!
Overall Review: My unit blew a firecracker sound after 2 days of use. Before this blow out, the PSU was randomly rebooting my desktop. I thought it was the new Windows 8 bugs that was causing this randomness or maybe the new mobo.....ultimately, the culprit was the EVGA unit. Mind you, EVGA is a great company for video cards but they are new to PSUs and they thusly aggressively price their PSus to build name and market share. Well, I'm hesitant to be a part of their "learning experience" as they ramp up their know-how in how to build reliable PSUs.....good thing they have a 10 year warranty....I think they secretly know they have a higher than normal failure rate and want to assure customers they have their back. Being that it's EVGA, I'll take that trust forward if anything were to happen to my replacement. This unit seems to have lots of 5* and 1*....in other words, you either get lucky with a good unit....or you don't.
Pros: Disk reads Phillips R04 on this 50 disc cake box (purchase March 2013). The discount coupon prompted me to try it out. The R04 is also what was ID'd on my Optical Quantum discs. R04s burn great with my LG burner. NEVER a coaster on the R04's
Cons: There is NO stamping on the front. Just a silver metal face. You'll have to WRITE "blue ray" or some such so you can identify them from a CD or DVD disc. Otherwise, there is no way to tell what it is.
Overall Review: I don't know if the smaller batches have a different disc ID, but the 50 disc cake box is the R04
Works on Win7 (64 bit)
Pros: It works on Win7 (64 bit)
Cons: Need to download the latest firmware from the Rosewill website for it to work properly with Win7. The discs that come with the product are antiquated and useless.
Overall Review: If you're installing this with Win7 (64 bit), go to the Rosewill website. Do a search for "RC-208" in the Support area. Download the firmware. To avoid complications, don't connect the cable to anything with the card. Get the firmware to recognize under "update firmware" in System Settings. Once recognized, install the cable to the device. It should boot up fine. After all is said and done, the product works with my hard drives and is well priced to work with my legacy devices.
Great Drive for MacbookPro
Pros: Very Energy efficient, QUIET, speed is good, shows 639.16 GB for use
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I used Carbon Copy to image my old 200gb HD to this HD for my '08 MacbookPro. This drive works great! It's very quiet (no clicks) and MORE energy efficient and cooler than the other old but great stock HD in my MBP. It shows almost the entire 640GB for use, which is much better than other drives that leaves out GBs from the advertised amount!
