Pros: locked or not $200 for 6 cores with 12 threads is alright. considering that is with shipping and taxes. replaced a 1st Gen i7 990x with this with comparable performance. although, besides the fact that the 990x has no AVX instructions, the 990x gave slightly better performance.

Cons: stock cooler sucks.

Overall Review: 10th, 11th, and 12th Gen 400s are pretty good budget CPUs can't really go wrong with them for budget builds. not far enough off of AMD's price to performance to rule them out.

Pros: no paper was wasted printing this "free gift"

Cons: it didn't get automatically sent to my email's trash folder

Overall Review: it made me scroll farther down my email list to see what other messages i had received today..
