Pros: Working as it should in tandem with a Pentium G645 on Windows 7. Good board for a good price, not much more you can ask for.

Cons: none

serves its purpose1/14/2013 5:10:20 PM

Pros: Used to replace a bad HDMI port on a mini-itx motherboard with a single PCI slot. Functions as it should in Ubuntu 12.04 using the proprietary driver, giving me native 720p output for my monitor and HDMI audio (the former of which I was unable to achieve using my board's antiquated onboard VGA).

Cons: none

Pros: Very nice tower, have used several for various builds. Sturdy, no sharp edges, tool-less drive bays work well, clean appearance. None have come damaged so far, they are packed pretty well. The 350W Powerman psu included is quiet and a good choice for modest builds. Has a 3 year warranty as well.

Cons: none

Pros: Works as advertised, runs cool and quiet. Seasonic quality.

Cons: none

Overall Review: Was not wrapped in anything for shipping, just thrown bare into a box. I realize its OEM, but seriously no bubble wrap?

Decent little board with limitations1/11/2013 2:34:12 AM

Pros: Rather cool and quiet running board using Ubuntu 12.04, even with the cpu fan running full throttle. Idle temps were around 32C, which is pretty decent for a 65nm cpu being cooled by a chipset fan. Ran 360p flash videos with about 75% cpu utilization, also not bad for a low power single core.

Cons: HDMI port was bad, filling the screen with nothing but multi-colored bands. As for VGA, the Ubuntu driver did not support res over 1024x768. A recent PCI video card should rectify this problem, as I have a GT 610 coming (which also has an HDMI port). No AHCI support in bios that I could find. Forced to run my sata drive in IDE mode.

For the video issues you are experiencing, please check the VIA Linux Portal for any possible driver solutions. See the included link. Pros: Very fast compared to the HDD it replaced.

Cons: Bought 8/15, died 12/03.

Overall Review: Seeing as how Intel SSDs are supposed to be top notch and given the short lifespan I and others have experienced, perhaps the technology needs to mature much further before spending money on another. As of now, I'm back to running on my original HDD. Bottom line, the mechanical drives seem to be much more reliable.......

good buy8/22/2012 9:38:43 AM

Pros: Works right out of the box with Ubuntu 12.04. Getting a steady 54Mbps reading from Ubuntu "connection info" on second floor of house, while router is on the first floor. Would buy again for another machine if needed.

Cons: None.
