Turns out they put a plate at the bottom of the last set of screws on a normal motherboard. Not a problem for a well tuned hand and a dremmel. Pros: The price of this product alone was enough for me to give it a trial. I have replaced the more expensive ram from a vendor who "dominates" the market after several continued failures. This memory works GREAT! I will be replacing every all my memory with this going forward.
