Pros: It has been very reliable and pretty snappy even as an inexpensive laptop

Overall Review: I recommend this product and I would have bought again. A touch screen would have been nice

Pros: Generally works well reading cd's & dvd's. Is lightweight and has the look and feel of a typical notebook optical drive

Cons: I purchased for use with a Samsung netbook. Will not work correctly unless the power adapter for the netbook is used even with two using two usb ports

Overall Review: I think I will be returning this and getting a moresubtantial unit that requires direct AC power since I can not run this unit on the power suupplied on the two USB ports alone.

Pros: It did what it was supposed to. It gave me a clean install more effectively than using a system recovery disk made from my copy of windows. Gone are the days that a recovery disk was supplied with a new computer so it is good ro have this disk on hand.

Cons: I needed to get my hands on an external CD drive. Since more notebooks and even desktops no longer have internal CD/DVD drives, The recovery software would have been easier on a USB drive.

Overall Review: Would recommend having this on your software shelf. I also recommend a copy for Windows 10 Pro as well.
