Two in crossfire - not so much

Pros: Amazing performance in everything I've thrown at it. Unigine Heaven had great numbers and Star Swarm with Mantle turned on was night and day compared to Mantle off. They run quieter than other high end cards I've used, and when I'm listening to music and gaming I sometimes wonder if the fan speed has dropped from my manually set 100% - even though it hasn't. If the room is silent, you can definitely hear them, but once one is at 100% rpm the second isn't much louder. I watch movies without bothering to turn the cards rpm down and I don't even notice them usually.
Cons: I have a pair of these beauties in my rig, and while one card performs well with ultra high settings, enabling crossfire with the current (as of 29 May 2014) version of Catalyst Control Suite produces some interesting artifacts. This is absolutely a driver issue, as both cards can solo the same performance without issue. It sucks that I have a spare Tri-X, but once the drivers are fixed I know that the pair of good cards will handle anything I can throw at them for a long time.
Would be nice if it worked

Pros: nice profile switching feature, good dpi, good response, feels pretty good in my hand.
Cons: buttons fail quickly, the rubberized coating rubs off quickly, the profile button is easy to hit accidentally.
Overall Review: I used this mouse for... oh about a month before the left click button stopped returning when clicked. Click turned into click and drag = RMA'ed the mouse. it came back, and seems they simply swapped the insert that makes the button return from the left click to the right click, because within an hour of starting to use it, the right click failed. I might have the left and right confused (ie right click failed first, and on return the left faied) but I can't remember because I sent it in again for another RMA and it's been MONTHS and they have not only not sent the mouse back, but they haven't responded to my calls, either. So much for Cooler Master making decent parts and having passable customer service. Do yourself a favor and buy a Logitech (from NewEgg, of course). If it fails, you call them and they'll simply mail you a replacement - no questions asked and no return of the defective one, simply discard it.
My daughter loves it (after painting)

Pros: Size was perfect for this application, generally easy teardown - easy for the things that you expect to take apart to build a computer, at any rate. Decent support for cable management. The tempered glass side panel is a nice touch.
Cons: Mounting support could use some work for smaller fans. It would be nice if riveted-together parts utilized threaded fasteners instead. Magnets for dust screens could be stronger.
Overall Review: Another strong offering from Cooler Master.
No problems

Pros: Quick and easy installation, plenty of power for its intended use, quiet and efficient.
Cons: I would like to see the cables all come wrapped or otherwise secured more neatly. The cables to the cpu and motherboard were separated individually so they went all over the place if left to their own devices. If you twist them, they look a bit better on straight runs, but not when bends are involved and they don't bend well when twisted either. Some sort of mesh loom would have been really nice, here. Still, that just means you can dress them up however you like, so I'm not taking away points for my personal aesthetic preferences.
Overall Review: There were basically no other options to consider, so I can't compare it to my preferred power supply brand... but in general I have never had issues with Corsair products and this one continues that pattern for me.
So far, decent except that it won't hibernate - it sleeps for a bit then shuts completely down

Overall Review: Have been in contact with Dell and today they did a full Windows reinstall on the laptop. It would sleep for as long as an hour, then shut completely down instead of hibernating. This is a headache when you have things set up a certain way for productivity and have to set it up again every time you open the lid to get back to work. I think this may be some sort of Windows setting for power consumption/energy efficiency, but have not been able to find the trigger to shut down while sleeping yet. Other than that, everything is as expected. Buyer packaged and shipped within the period claimed, though it could have been faster. Buy with confidence, especially if you are not in a hurry.
Good RAM at a good price from a good brand

Overall Review: It's RAM sticks - swap them in, boot up, accept that the configuration has changed, and go on about your day. I would like it if the CAS latency was lower, but for what this system does that is a non-issue. Seller was good about preparing and shipping, package arrived as expected with no issues. Buy with confidence.
No issues
Had to mess with some settings on my retro PC build to get the mouse speed figured out, but that's not surprising for an optical mouse - especially on old hardware that would have been paired with a mechanical mouse. Glad that this is PS/2 native, not USB with adapter.
worked fine, one bent pin
I received the package to find a shipping box that was thrashed, but the box inside and the keyboard itself were fine. Found a bent pin when trying to plug it in, and after some careful straightening efforts that reminded me of the 90's (go figure) I was able to plug in the keyboard and put it to use. I am sure I have not tried every single key yet, but it has worked just fine so far. I was worried this would be another USB keyboard with PS/2 adapter, but it is in fact a straight up PS/2 keyboard and exactly what my retro PC build needed.
Order at your own risk
First of all, I have made numerous purchases from Newegg over the years. When I say this is a first for me, I mean it. Newegg to me historically meant timely processing, fast shipping, and zero issues, but today must be the exception to prove that rule. This seller took over ten days and a dispute on the order before processing it. Then they claimed "the package was damaged in transit" and that they were "shipping another" to cover up the fact that they had not processed the order in a timely manner. I immediately responded to cancel and refund, but they magically had this so-called second package processed and shipped in record setting time (yeah... right.) after the supposed first package which more likely never existed. That's okay, they ate all the shipping charges and lost the sale. Shame, really... losing a sale because you are not willing or able to actually process an order cannot be good for your business, especially since it cost you the shipping fees both ways. Hopefully nobody else has to deal with these shenanigans, by ordering from a different seller. Spheronomics should lose their status as a Newegg seller.
