A good workstation card for Linux

Pros: Silent Low Power consumption Decent performance Well-supported in Debian Linux (testing)
Cons: 8GB RAM is low Lacks ECC RAM Ray tracing is still far behind nVidia Less stream processors than RX6600
Overall Review: Its not the most powerful but Im happy with it for the modeling I do in Blender for 3D printing. I use Debian Linux (bullseye) and only got it to work after installing Debian testing (bookworm) in my sources list. However, this worked out great as my system is extremely stable even on testing. I would have liked ECC VRAM because my system RAM is ECC, but only the W6800 is ECC and is way more expensive. I think 12GB is not a lot to ask either. Anyway, its a stable card on Debian Linux and probably enjoys even better support on the distros listed on the AMD site but, dont worry, it will work on Debian you just most likely will have to include testing (bookworm) in your sources like I did. 3440x1440 @144Hz works great
best choice for budget build

Pros: Runs 3 monitors Quiet and cool 8gb vram
Cons: Could use a further price drop
Overall Review: Only gpu at this price which can do games on 3 monitors due to the memory. Far more than necessary for Roblox but can also do Warzone well
Top choice for budget gaming system

Pros: Quiet and cool due to 7nm process More than enough power for most games Works with newer motherboards
Cons: Due to supply issues the price was raised a bit, at least when I bought it. Hopefully that gets sorted out because every dollar matters in a budget build.
Overall Review: This processor runs cool and quietly with the stock cooler and does surprisingly well even with more demanding games and media. I paired it with an RX580 building a budget gaming PC for a friend and he is very happy with it. AMD is on top right now in price to performance.
Good piece of gear.

Pros: -Seriously powerful components for this size laptop -Runs a lot of very new games at high settings -Thin and light -Trackpad has a great texture, as does the whole case (Aluminum) -USB 3.0 -Dirt-frikkin-cheap. -8hr battery life is real (as long as you don't have that 540m running!)
Cons: ***AWFUL*** screen, that's what keeps it from 5 stars and if I'm being honest could very well push it down to 3 if i weren't feeling so generous. It is the worst quality LCD screen I have seen since the 90s. Worst. -5400rpm hdd is slow (but good for battery life) -Spongy keyboard -No Expresscard!!! -No eSATA!!! -Built-in battery WHY?!?!?!
Overall Review: The colour is tasteful, I usually like to get a black laptop and was worried it may turn out to be a ridiculous looking laptop, but it turns out it's a pretty nice hue. You're gonna need ThrottleStop if you use Windows and want full performance for gaming. A lot of laptops are like this. Once you do, the i5 and 540m will take you to the promised land, gaming on a 13" for under $700? Sweet! Whenever you're not gaming, please use Linux. Windows is the worst thing there is in this world. This laptop works great with Debian :)
Best bet for non-enthusiast

Pros: Powerful Runs cool
Cons: No unlocked multiplier :( The way the fan's wire is routed seems like it could possibly work it's way toward the blade.
Overall Review: If you want to get into some heavy overclocking, this is not the CPU for you. But for $10 more than the 2500K, the Hyperthreading and lower power consumption (due to no graphics processing on the chip) makes it a good deal.
Unlocks great, runs cool

Pros: Unlocks with no artifacts, no excessive heat, no crashes. Plenty of room for overclocking Useful Anti-Aliasing modes Many output options
Cons: Price was a little steep, for some reason it went up even higher after I bought it. Sorry guys.
Overall Review: Worth it, especially after the unlock.
