Overall Review: I bought this drive to install Ubuntu on since I didn't want to shrink or partition my current drive with Vista on it. Setup was quick and painless, and now both drives and operating systems work fine with each other.

Pros: A huge step up from my 3-year old Samsung 17 in analog LCD. The high contrast ratio is amazing, go to any retail store and compare visually for yourself. 2ms response time makes this a great gaming LCD and will be one for several years to come. The pricetag here on Newegg is much better than that at retail stores.

Cons: There is a little backlight bleed, but that is a defect inherent to all LCDs. It is minimal, and only noticeable when you are sitting too close to the monitor and the picture has a lot of black on it.

Overall Review: I ordered this monitor in late april, only to discover the mail in rebate is valid only for the month of May. Morale of the story: Read the fine print of the rebate before you buy.
