Most Favorable Review

My initial review was bad...but I came back (after six months of use) and it's a complete 180.

ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII EXTREME LGA 1151 Intel Z170 Intel USB 3.1 USB 3.0 U.2 Extended ATX Intel Gaming Motherboard

Pros: Incredible performance, very stable, plethora of features.

Cons: Cost..but it's worth it.

Overall Review: Initially, I made an error in my review of this product. Let's just say, I was wrong in my initial installation, and did not realize that this mobo requires an additional power cord to the CPU area, basically, a GEN2 power supply (I think it was GEN2). Anyway, initially, I thought I had a DOA mobo, because I couldn't get out of the double 00 reading on the board (the red numbers display when you boot it up. Came to find out through research, that I never ran the power cable to the CPU area, so therefore the CPU wasn't powering up. I had to get a new power supply because my older one didn't have the extra extensions for the power requirements. Once this was changed out and configured, the system came on instantly, and I haven't had a problem yet. It's very stable and runs strong. I haven't had any performance issues at all. I haven't even had time to check/work all the features this board has, but eventually I will. This is my third ASUS Maximus Extreme mobo I have used in the past 10 years, and it is the best one I've seen so far. 7 months going, and no issues at all.

TRENDnet TEW-623PI Wireless N Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g/n 32-Bit PCI Rev. 2.1/2.2/2.3 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: I wrote a review earlier for the wrong product on here. Wanted to correct that. This card works great. Was easy to install and configure, picked up my network router right away. Great speeds too. I noticed a difference right away. I used extended antennas because my systems is a bit far from the wireless router, but everything came in. I'm actually seeing devices around the neighborhood too! Strange, but it's powerful.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Overall Review: Easy to install card and easy to get running. Picked up my WPA-2 Personal wireless settings with ease. Have to maintain that security!

Great product

TRENDnet TEW-623PI Wireless N Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g/n 32-Bit PCI Rev. 2.1/2.2/2.3 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: Instantly connected to my wireless router by the touch of a button. The sync process was so simple, and now everything around my home entertainment center is on the net. I have 4 cables plugged into this thing, running DHCP on the home router, and all devices are talking nicely.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Overall Review: Great for networking legacy devices around the house to your wireless network. Great for the Xbox 360 too, if you never bought the wireless adapter. This thing plugs right in to your LAN RJ-45 connection, and you're wireless, plus you have three more RJ-45 connections for other devices.

Great case!

AZZA Hurrican 2000R SAZ-2000R Black (exterior)/Red (interior) SECC Japanese Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Huge inside, fits everything with room to spare.

Cons: None so far

Overall Review: I'm an avid PC gamer and this case just rocks. The space inside is incredible. Fit all three of my nVidia cards easily, and keeps everything cool. I can't believe how much room I have inside this case. What else is cool is the fans that are mounted outside the door, rather than inside, freed up so much room. Great product, great design, and looks cool too!

Pros: Hooked right up and came right online.

Cons: None that I can think of yet.

Overall Review: If you have systems that need to be on the net, or access the net, then this is a great solution. Worked great with my Xbox 360, Blue ray player, and my Yamaha receiver. They all plugged into this with Rj-45 and came right on the net. The touch and go option on this is great too. My router recognized it right away and everything was just too simple.
