Most Favorable Review

Absolutly mind blowing, despite the price!!!

Logitech X-230 32 watts RMS 2.1 Black Speaker System
Logitech X-230 32 watts RMS 2.1 Black Speaker System

Pros: Extremely good power output, clearity throughout the volume, linear volume levels, VERY flat repsonse, very high output subwoofer, headphone jack conveinence, and slick design. And look at that price...

Cons: Absolutly nothing.

Overall Review: YEARS of audio work (car and home theater) and my ears are heavily trained to tell good from bad. When I read the reviews and looking for high end but cheap speakers, these won my attention and bought them. It only took me a few carefuly chosen songs to fall in love. The subwoofer is all the way down to match the fronts (I dont like a lot of bass, just a flat response) and no song can beat these speakers up! Put the sub in a corner of some sort, try and face the sub against a wall or somewhere flat for best output and low end.

Not bad, but a bit disapointed

Patriot 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model PDC2G3200LLK
Patriot 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model PDC2G3200LLK

Pros: Great price for the amount/quality of ram. Excellent eye candy.

Cons: Could not run claimed settings (2-3-2-5 @ 2.7V, 200Mhz), absolutely DOES NOT overclock. tech support wasn't that helpful.

Overall Review: 2.8V is what it took, and im not 100% sure its stable even then! Can do 2-3-3-5 just fine though. This is the 3rd product I have bought from Patriot, but others have given MUCH better results. I recommend looking elsewhere for Low Latency 2GB DDR, sadly...

Ram timing king!

G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C16D-16GTZR
G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C16D-16GTZR

Pros: I couldn't get this to work at 3600, likely because of my processor or board (AB350 board with Ryzen 2600X), but I was able to get some insanely tight timings out of it. Plugged it into the Ryzen DRAM Calculator and got the extreme setting @ 3200, which is 14-13-14-13-22-36-4-6-18 (and much more tightened, but you get the point). Did great at both 1.35v and 1.4v. Passed many, many hours of testing (weeks worth, up to 8 hours at a time!).

Cons: I didn't really want RGB, but it was on sale cheaper than without... I know, it really isn't a con. They are a little wide in the slots so they basically touch. They are just barely against my CPU fan, so they actually sit at a slight angle because of it. They work fine this way, just be aware that they may be a snug fit for some installs.

Overall Review: It's WELL worth tuning your timings, no matter the frequency, on the Ryzen platform. I'd take a tight subtimed 3200Mhz over a factory 3600Mhz with ease! Do some research, the gains are HUGE with tightening these babies up! And the Ryzen DRAM Calculator makes it extremely simple (though, do plenty of testing and don't dive into the extremes all at once!)

Great board for the money!

ASRock AB350M Pro4 AM4 AMD Promontory B350 USB 3.1 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
ASRock AB350M Pro4 AM4 AMD Promontory B350 USB 3.1 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: -Great basic board without a huge cost -Overclocks chips with the basic necessities without issue -Easy to use layout -BIOS updates seem to stay current -Allowed me to run my Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 at 2933Mhz CL15 w/o any issues (model CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) -Ryzen 5 1600 up to 3.8ghz on air, no issues!

Cons: -Not extensive in overclocking options (voltages, etc) -Seemed to have some issues with my MyDigitalSSD BPX drive (not on their list) (It would show up at one point, then disappear in the BIOS, was strange but, again, not on their official list! Can't dock them for that) -Lacks fan headers (1 CPU, 1 other 4 pin and 1 other 3 pin... 1 more 4 pin would have made the difference!)

Overall Review: I'd call this a 4.5 egg, but if I can to sway one way or the other, for the price, it gets a 5. If you are an overclocker and really want all the options, you'll need to spend a bit more. For basic overclock needs, this board is excellent! I'm holding out for Ryzen 2 (or Ryzen + or whatever the next version is called) and will be ready to buy a fancier board at that time. For now, I'm fine with this board! Doubt I would be able to get much more out of this processor with any other board, anyways.

Ryzen doesn't mind this RAM!

CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Memory Kit Model CMK16GX4M2B3000C15

Pros: -Ran at 2933 CL15 on my Ryzen system! (Asrock AB350M Pro4) -XPS loaded up, no issues -Seems to stay cool -Looks nice -Seems to be the best bang/buck

Cons: -No issues!

Overall Review: I haven't had a chance to try overclocking these. Ram isn't something I expect to have great results, but always happy to take what I can get!

It's just a baby, but baby got wings!

ASRock Q1900M PRO3 Intel Celeron J1900 2.0 GHz Micro ATX Motherboard / CPU / VGA Combo
ASRock Q1900M PRO3 Intel Celeron J1900 2.0 GHz Micro ATX Motherboard / CPU / VGA Combo

Pros: Silent and cool operation from a quad core. Low price for motherboard/processor combo. PCI-Express capabilities. Dual-Channel Ram. Low-power consumption.

Cons: PCI-Express 16x slot is 2.0 and really 1x. Only 2 Sata ports. Ram surrounds CPU cooler, cutting some airflow to it.

Overall Review: So really, I wanted to do this review to see if this board would be worth having a video card in it for gaming. I did 3D mark with the onboard Intel HD graphics and one with an AMD 7750 (no external power and low profile). The power consumption went from ~30w to ~70w peak during this test in my rig. Test - Onboard Score - +7750 score Firestrike 1.1 - 171 - 1905 Skydiver 1.0 - 600 - 5610 Cloudgate 1.1 - 1604 - 5709 Ice Storm 1.2 - 18985 - 37482 The physics score was rather uneffected, but the graphics scores went up considerably. Skydiver went from a slideshow to a near-smooth experience. Firestrike, however, was still pretty rough. Reglardless, even with only 1x operation, it seems a video card is worth it if you want to attempt to game from the awesome little J1900, as it struggles with video performance. I'm using a Silverstone ML04 (with 4x Enermax Enobal fans turned down), older Sandisk SSD, Older OCZ Power Supply, Pioneer Blu-ray player, and some cheap Nanya 667mhz ram I had laying around. Idle takes less than 20 watts and, outside of the power supply fan, it's dead silent. Going to use this for a HTPC, but figured I'd experiment as a gaming computer as I've used the J1900 in the Gigabyte Brix for Steam Streaming. Saw the J1900 in that was getting bottle-necked by the processors poor video performance in local gaming, so figured it was worth a quick test on this board to see how well a vid card would help. Won't be keeping the video card in this box as the J1900 can stream just fine, but hopefully this little review helps somebody.

No issues here!

Like many others, I was VERY disappointed when I saw that I didn't purchase a product from Newegg, of course after submitting payment. Shame on Newegg for not making a way to differ between sellers and trying to turn into a tech Ama zon. Anywho, I got all the usual emails on the purchase, but the shipping information was not complete. I couldn't track the package. A few days later, I emailed the company and asked. They promptly acknowledged the issue and said they would get me a tracking number. A few days later, I didn't hear back from them, so I emailed again and was quickly given a FedEx shipping number. Not long after, I got the package. All was in good order and had no issues at this point (where I saw others mention wrong product, used product, or other scary stories). I was very skeptical after order and seeing the reviews. It's not Newegg service, but it's good enough. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from these guys again after having experienced them myself.
