Works great

Pros: Ubuntu identified the card, offered to install the restricted drivers and restart the system, and upon reboot, everything worked as it should. Newly attached 20" monitor was found and proper resolution established automatically. Almost Mac like.
Cons: It's yesterday's technology, but for the price, it works quite well.
Overall Review: For $30 ($20 after rebate) this card seems hard to beat. I don't know how well it would work for a gaming rig, but for a Linux rig, it works awesome.
AMD690GM-M2 Mobo

Pros: Good feature-set for the price. Seemed to work well with Windows Vista Business.
Cons: Wouldn't work with Ubuntu 7/Fedora 8 x86 version - you have to use the AMD64 versions (somewhat limited by their repositories). Also, the integrated ATIx1250 video chipset wasn't supported by the X windowing system. Without X Windows, you are stuck with the command line. Since I'm running as a headless server this wasn't an issue for me. But if you want to run Linux as a desktop, be wary.
Overall Review: For a Windows machine or a headless server this is an OK board. If you want something that will work easy with desktop Linux, I'd suggest something else.
Great case

Pros: USB & Firewire. Enclosure is sturdy, attractive and quiet.
Cons: It gets hot. Make sure it's well ventilated, and it shouldn't be an issue.
