Great card for the $$

EVGA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 512-P3-N801-AR
EVGA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 512-P3-N801-AR

Pros: I am not a major gamer, or a major digital editor, but i do some gaming, some digital work, and love to watch videos on my screen. I was able to do a dual display setup pushing out to (2) 22" monitors and make everything work great

Cons: only issue is that the card is a little long and covers 2 SATA ports on my MOBO. but i was able to get 2 SATA Cables with 90 degree connectors to alleviat this. This will also be on my MOBO review

Overall Review: Good card for the $$ even though its a little older it still has the |A - $ - $| to run the newer games ... if you don't care to be on the bleeding edge of Video Card technology this might be the card for you

Works as expected

Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Laptop Memory Model CT2KIT51264AC800

Pros: Maxes out my Latitude e6400 from Dell. Popped it in and it fired right up. No complaints.

Cons: None to speak of

Overall Review: If you are using virtualization on your notebook you need lots of memory. I have Windows 8 loaded on the host and a large windows 7 VM I use for work. This memory allows me to separate my environments from one another and increases my productivity

Lite On just works

Pros: This thing just works ... its a little shorter in the back end of the drive than some others, thus giving me more room to work in my case.

Cons: None so far

Overall Review: Only coasters i have burned are my fault not this drives

4 Gigs of RAM for under a hundred bucks

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK

Pros: The memory has done nothing but work since i installed this memory on my new quad core machine (32 bit os so only showing 3 gigs ... waiting for ultimate 64 to come in ... or maybe XP 64 later)

Cons: It just works

Overall Review: Not at this time

Quad Core without breaking the Bank

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 - Core 2 Quad Kentsfield Quad-Core 2.4 GHz LGA 775 105W None Integrated Graphics Processor - BX80562Q6600
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 - Core 2 Quad Kentsfield Quad-Core 2.4 GHz LGA 775 105W None Integrated Graphics Processor - BX80562Q6600

Pros: First off ... i will start by saying i have NOT overclocked this processor ... It performs admirably and does not need me to tweak it to gleen any more performance from it. It has been rock solid since day one, though i did not use the stock heatsink.

Cons: No real cons now, but i may upgrad to a more powerfull CPU when the prices come down later

Overall Review: Nothing at this time

Good drive for the price

Western Digital Blue WD6400AAKS 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
Western Digital Blue WD6400AAKS 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

Pros: I have 3 of these running in a raid 5 configuration to maximize data integrity. the drives seem to be performing well. I ordered all three of these from Newegg and one came DOA (more on this in the Cons) which is why it got a 4 instead of a 5

Cons: one of the three drives came with a broken SATA connector, but newegg as usual took care of me (more on this in Other Thoughts)

Overall Review: I started an RMA and called Newegg customer support (and got a real live person! WOO HOOO) and was told the way to do an RMA was to place the RMA as a return NOT AN EXCHANGE, and order a new drive at the same time. Newegg sent me a new drive (paid for shipping both ways) and refunded my $$ in a few weeks. All was good and i had my "replacement drive" in 2 days. As usual NEWEGG ROX!
