Excellent Value

Pros: This thing is F-A-S-T. I know the 720 is faster, but I don't bother with overclocking. Cool'n'Quiet works flawlessly with Fedora 10, 800Mhz normally, 2.6Ghz on-demand. Or just set to 2.6Ghz and let it ride. Best deal for the money.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Asus M3N72-D, AMD Phenom II X3 710, Arctic Freezer 64 Pro, 4GB G.Skill DDR-1066, XFX 9500GT, LG GH22NS30, WD 3200AAKS, Raidmax Smilodon w/500w ps.
Could have been great, but QC kills it (literally 2x)

Pros: + Design and Layout. + Fan header locations. + Nice packaging. + BIOS is easy to use. + Lots of features and ports. + MSI Windows software was actually pretty nice. + I dont OC and the stock speeds were just fine. But the BIOS OC feature was straightforward if I wanted to.
Cons: - Two failed boards. - The first board didnt even POST. I did the flash procedure from the website, watched several YT videos detailing the same issue, but still couldnt get it. Called MSI and their support was helpful, but couldnt fix it either. - The second board worked great, for a week. Then the WiFi chip decided it didnt like life anymore. BIOS is up to date and BT worked fine. Wired network works fine, but I need WiFi.
Overall Review: - 5 eggs for quality control. Failed BIOS and WiFi chips from the factory arent acceptable nowadays. +1 egg for MSI customer support, I had a good experience with them. +1 egg for Newegg customer support, they were helpful in getting the boards replaced. Ultimately, I would not recommend this board. My build was: AMD 8700F, Crucial 64GB DDR5, XFX Radeon RX 7600, Crucial P310 1TB, Win11 Pro & Ubuntu.
High quality, fast RAM

Pros: + Micron quality + Fast for running stock speeds or slight OC + Great price
Cons: - None
Overall Review: * Only thing to note is if you want to run 128GB with 4 sticks, the BIOS is going to down-clock it. CPUs vary a bit, but my Ryzen 7 8700F dropped it to DDR5-3600. Not a big deal for my workloads, but something to be aware of. + Recommended.
Straightforward and easy setup

Pros: + High quality hardware. + Good cable lengths. + Easy to install.
Cons: - None
Overall Review: En-Labs makes great parts! This was an excellent add-on purchase for my new PC build in my older Mid-ATX case. Glad I found it.
Good match for the 8700F

Pros: + Plenty of power for 1080p gaming. + Compact size. It actually fits in my older Mid-ATX tower. + Low power draw. Only need 1x PCIe power cable. + Quiet, even at full loads. + Great Windows and Linux drivers. + Fast at encoding h.265. + AMD AI works with the 8700 NPUs.
Cons: - None
Overall Review: This is a great budget buy and pairs nicely with the Zen 4, Ryzen 7 8700F in my system. Especially for typical workstation duties, 1080p video encoding, and 1080p gaming. Sure, theres faster GPUs out there, at twice the price and limited availability. Recommended.
Excellent Budget CPU

Pros: + Price! Very budget friendly. + Zen 4 + the AI NPU. + 16 lanes of PCIe 4.0. + Fast enough for my needs. + Comes with a Wraith cooler, which is nice and quiet.
Cons: - None.
Overall Review: - If you have a separate GPU, this is a great deal. I paired it with an RX 7600 and only have 1x 1080p monitor. So I had no reason to spend the extra money on the 8700G. * Be mindful when you spec this chip (or the 8700G) with respect to PCIe lanes. 1x 8-lane GPU + 1x 4-lane NVMe + 1 4-lane capture card and youre maxed out. A second NVMe will ride on the B850 chipset and anything more will need to be SATA or USB.
