Great Card. Great Price.

Pros: At the price, this is a steal. Overclocked very easily to 1200 Mhz for GPU and didn't require a voltage increase. This gives me a solid 60 FPS on ultra settings on any game I currently run (BF3, Bioshock: Infinite, Tomb Raider, Metro 2033, FarCry 3.) All it required was a manual fan setting to 50% during gaming runs to keep it at around 70 degrees Celcius. That is completely acceptable considering that most gamers, like me, use a good set of headphones. Then when gaming is done, set the fan back to auto and let it cool off. At idle, you can't hear the fan and the temps stay around 40 degrees Celcius. I'm able to run a 3-monitor Eyefinity setup on BF3 with Medium+ settings at 5760x1080 smoothly. Which was about the same as my previous two HD 6950s.
Cons: Don't mess with overclocking the memory speed as it does become somewhat unstable under load. But really, it is already at 1500 Mhz, so you don't need to.
Overall Review: I purchased this to replace two crossfired HD 6950's that I have been running for two years. This wasn't so much an upgrade, as overall the performance is about the same. But it has reduced the temps in the case, reduced the amount of power draw, and gotten rid of the micro stuttering that occurs occasionally with crossfire setups. And...for another $200.00 something dollars, I can snag another one and have the performance of an HD 7970 if I want. AMD X6 1090t @ 3.6Ghz Asus Sabretooth 990FX 16 GB Kingston HyperX 120 GB OCz SSD 1TB WD Caviar Black HDD Thermaltake 750W PowerSupply Antec 1200. A good case with good cooling is a must. Even though this card does exhaust out the rear (a little) a large portion of the heat gets blown into the case. But with my Antec 1200, this gets quickly exhausted up throught the 200mm fan on the top. This card has not affected my CPU temperatures at all.
Bad luck - but being fair on the review

Pros: Looks good on price, specs, and reviews. Tom's Hardware picked it as the best budget SSD.
Cons: Upon receipt, I installed this hard drive into my system and booted up. My system did not recognize the new Hyinx SSD. Within about a minute I smelled burning. I shut down the system and inspected only to find that the SATA connectors on the Hyinx SSD had shorted out and melted the SATA cable. To be fair to Hyinx I began troubleshooting the SATA cable and the SATA ports on my ASUS Sabretooth Motherboard. The partially melted SATA cable was still completely operational with another hard drive, another SSD, and another DVD Rom drive on the same SATA port as well as all other ports. This was clearly a failure of the SSD.
Overall Review: I was able to RMA this item to newegg.com. RMA responses were quick and easy and my refund credit was processed within a week. I ended up purchasing an SSD from a different manufacturer for a couple of dollars more. It worked right out of the box.
Eggcellent Card

Pros: Very good card. BF4 on ultra at 1920x1080 running a solid 75-80 FPS. Eggstremely quiet (even at 90-100% fans speed) compared to almost every other air-cooled R9 290x I've heard. Temperatures are no issue...period! Anyone who tells you they are getting high temperatures clearly have a case with little to no ventilation. My Antec 1200 lets in plenty of air in the front and exhausts it all out the top and back. Also, as of February, 2014, this card was rated the best overclocking R9 290x by several online tech review sites. (if that is your thing)
Cons: Nitpicking here...but I agree with the other review regarding being able to disable the XFX light. I have a case with a clear side panel and sometimes at night I would like to have the light off.
Overall Review: Used for gaming each night, and Scrypt mining each day. Mining yields 850 Kh/s with the following settings: engine-885, memclock-1500, powertune 50, intensity 20, TC 28600, fan runs at about 80% and keeps temps under 80 degrees Celcius. ***and, at 80% fans, I can barely hear it in the Antec 1200 case while in the same room!*** AMD FX 8320 @ 4.0 GHz ASUS Sabretooth 990fx 16gb Kingston Hyper X 10666
Very strong!

Pros: This card is very strong right out of the box. Factory overclocked to 1.0 ghz gives it more than enough power to eat up every game I give it on Ultra settings at 1080p. Triple fan setup keeps the card around 36 degrees idle, and only in the low 60s under load while gaming and/or Litecoin Mining. With little, or no fan noise escaping my enclosure!
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I already had a Powercolor 7870+ Myst Edition card that I love. I purchased another one to crossfire with it and realized the one shortfall of that card. With the fan not venting out of the case, all of the heat was coming off the lower card and going straight up to the one above it. There was nothing I could do to get the airflow required to keep the upper card at less than 90 degrees celcius. So I purchased this Gigabyte, with its triple fan setup and put it in the higher crossfire position. Then I overclocked the Myst card to 1.0 ghz to match the Gigabyte and, Voila! A twin Tahiti setup that keeps both cards in the mid 60 degree area at full load! --This is a nice little perk of those Myst cards, the ability to crossfire with HD7950/7970s. That triple fan setup really made the difference in crossfire!
One of the best!

Pros: Great feel. Adjustable weight. Good reach to all buttons. Nice scroll wheel with selectable scroll speed. On the fly DPS adjusting which is great for FPS games. I highly recommend this mouse even with the small problem noted in the "cons" section.
Cons: I have had my current one for almost 3 years. Not one problem. Now all of the sudden it has begun disconnecting/reconnecting to my computer. This only happens in the middle of a game...boooooo. The mouse actually freezes for about 3 seconds.
Overall Review: I have followed several blogs and forums about this exact issue happening to many other customers recently. some only had the mouse for a few months while others had it for as long as I did before it started happening. The consensus is two possible things. One--the drivers are failing and need to be reinstalled (Logitech's Gaming Software). Two--Where the braided cord enters the mouse shell, it does a 90 degree turn and causes a crimp in the wire. This leads to a loosened solder point inside. I reinstalled the driver software and the problem stopped happening for about two weeks, then it started again. So I am assuming that I have the second issue. Either way, this mouse was well worth it's cost for me. So much so that I just purchased a new one from Newegg to since they just went on sale and had a promo code. I probably should have bought several of them to keep in storage since they are discontinued.
Awesome Upgrade

Pros: Great speeds. Easy setup.
Cons: none at this time
Overall Review: This is my second one. They work great and the recent price drop prompted me to snag a second one to setup a raid 0. ****Warning. Shoprunner.com who advertised the free "2 day shipping" is a blatant scam.**** They do NOT use any form of 2 business day guaranteed shipping. They use UPS ground. As anyone knows, this is a 2-5 business day shipping method and they do NOT deliver on weekends at all. This is not a fault of UPS or Newegg so 5 eggs for the product!!!
