Super, solid, non-blcoking POE switch
Overall Review: A+ Hey, it's from Netgear. Application (using many of these - 5 and 8 port models) is in a distributed surveillance system (QNAP) based. Flawless, just keeps running, and running...
WD keeps its edge
Overall Review: Great value proposition. I've been with WD ever since they fixed their oops back before the millennium. Application is in a 100% duty cycle streaming surveillance system (not motion event activated recording). 24/7 stream from 16 HD cameras (H.265) @ 1 MB (8 Mbps) per camera. Solid and quiet too : )
Great value, this member of the 'value' line from HikVision is right up there, shoulder to shoulder with their 'high-tier' offerings
Overall Review: Super IR capability, clear, crisp, responsive. Great UI. Just an all around solid camera and IP67 rated to boot.
Super NAS
Pros: Unsurpassed price/performance. Stable operation, just a solid network appliance. Lots of buttons and knobs for the geek (may be a con, but I'm a geek : ). Couldn't recommend a particular NAS more highly (this one is specifically used for surveillance in a institutional setting) and in general couldn't recommend a better NAS developer more than QNAP Inc..
Cons: Tried hard but nothing came close to warranting mention compared to the pros. Really...
Overall Review: A+ nothing more, nothing less.
Super Newegg Partner
I buy all IP cameras, mounts, QNAP licenses etc. for surveillance applications from IPC. Super delivery, never an issue. Go with them, you'll be blessed : )
