WOW! - Impressive!

BFG Tech GeForce 7800GS 256MB GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Graphics Card BFGR78256GSOC
BFG Tech GeForce 7800GS 256MB GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Graphics Card BFGR78256GSOC

Pros: Good upgrade choice for AGP lackeys like me! Solid BFG construction. Simple install. Solid Nvidia drivers. Solid tech support.

Cons: Noisy fan (but well worth the performance boost)!

Overall Review: I figured my upgrade options were fairly limited for my AGP board. Proc, mobo, RAM, and HDD were all solid so I couldn't bear to reconfigure everything to get PCI-e graphics. I replaced a ATI Radeon 9200 with this Geforce 7800GS and I am ecstatic! I am an X3 Reunion addict and the game was nearly unplayable with my old card. FPS would drop to the 6-10 range (AA & AF off, 1024X768 res)during a space battle making the game VERY stuttering and hard to play. Popped this Geforce 7800 GS in and I am smokin! Now I play X3 at 1280X1024 with 4XAA and 2XAF with no stuttering and BEAUTIFUL graphics! "The Way It Was Meant To Be Played" about sums it up for me. I thank the computer Gods for remembering us AGP lackeys - I am EXTREMELY happy with this card!

Better than "the laser"

XTRAC PADS Ripper RIPPER XL Optical Mouse pad
XTRAC PADS Ripper RIPPER XL Optical Mouse pad

Pros: This thing is GINORMOUS! My word, I cut mine into fourths and I made like 6 extra mouse pads! It rivals the Shamwow(tm) in absorbency and consistency. Olympic divers use this thing to dry off between dives. It is the preferred mousing surface of The Alan Parson's Project!

Cons: It REALLY reeks! I think mine crawled out of the sea! Smells like a mixture of rubber and fish (mmmmmm good). If you cut off little pieces and put them into your friends' cars on a hot summer day, they will be quite pleasantly surprised. My female friends always excuse themselves to check for feminine moisture and odor upon entering the room where this mousepad resides!

Overall Review: The UPS guy damaged this mousepad severely. After ringing my doorbell, he screamed "Oh My Titties!" and dropped the box into the neighborhood fishpond (maybe responsible for the odor?). After pulling it out of the pond, he exclaimed "OOOh, it's wafting!" and "It Smells Like Hot Sick!". To which I replied "Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!". Not my best moment, but yes - the mousing surface does, at times, smell like hot sick.
