Beautiful piece of technology
Pros: -Next day delivery(to Mississauga, ON) -Delivered in mint condition -Amazing speed, loads windows 10 in 5-7 seconds
Cons: None. Not sure why some people take away an egg for lack of heatsink but c'mon now, you just invested $400 - $500 in a piece of delicate tech... BUY a proper cooler.
Overall Review: Would highly recommend this product for the every day gamer and casual PC user. It's fast, stable, and simply a joy to use as all applications load up fast and nicely. I can be gaming and have AUTOCAD 2015, MS Office and other applications running in the background and this bad boy doesn't even break a sweat. Here's my new build coming from a i7 920 2.67ghz PC: -Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz w/ Cooler Master Hyper T4 - CPU Cooler -GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 (rev. 1.0) (flashed bios to F8l) -MSI Geforce GTX 970 ME 4gb -CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 -SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 250GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) -WD Red Pro 2TB NAS Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM Class SATA 6Gb/s 64MB -EVGA SuperNOVA GS 220-GS-0650-V1 80 PLUS GOLD 650 W ECO Mode Fully Modular -Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-02 Mid-Tower Gaming Case All hooked up to a 55" Samsung 1080P Curved HDTV She's a beaut. Should last me a few years! :)
Works great
Pros: Install, go to bios and select XMP and you're set! Better priced than most brands
Cons: None
Overall Review: Would purchase again no question
So far it's great
Pros: -6 core / 12 threads is the sweet spot for gaming -Overclock easily to 4.4ghz -Runs nice and cool on a Kraken x62 cooler. Max temps at 65c in stress testing and 52c under regular gaming use -40 PCI-E lanes for my 1080ti SLI setup works perfectly
Cons: -Could not achieve 4.5ghz without increasing voltage over 1.4v which I rather not for longevity. Keeping it at a cool 4.4ghz as my previous 6700K.
Overall Review: This is definitely a great processor at the current price. If you can find it cheaper even better. Got all cores up to 4.4ghz at 1.325v but I increased to 1.335v to ensure full stability.. passed AIDA64 stress testing CPU/FPU/Cache and stabilizes at a cool 65c for 10 hours with a Kraken x62 AIO cooler. Got it paired with a Gigabyte x99 Ultra Gaming and 32gb of Trident Z RAM.
Quality plain and simple
Pros: -Blown away by how fun and awesome this case is.. wish I had this for my build to be honest. -Well laid out backside for cable routing/management -Airflow is really good considering the side opening on the from intake.
Cons: -Wish it had more SSD mounts -No PSU shroud
Overall Review: This case is almost perfect. Wish it had a PSU shroud especially if your build is loaded to hide excess cables. Wish it had more SSD mounts instead of 3 HDD mounts. Overall this is a great case, highly recommended.
RAM that works.
Pros: -Works with Ryzen XMP -Actually bumper XMP speed to 3200mhz, no additional tweaking involved so that's a huge plus for Ryzen systems
Cons: -None. Corsair is the best RAM module manufacturer in my opinion.
Overall Review: Would highly recommend corsair RAM all day everyday. Works better than expected with Ryzen(see pros above).
Perfect Entry level/Budget build CPU
Pros: -4core/4thread is perfect for a budget build -Comes with a nice cooler -Great for 1080p even 1440p gaming
Cons: -None so far.
Overall Review: Paired with a B350 gaming 3 from Gigabyte and a MSI 1050ti card and Corsair LPX 3000mhz RAM. Works great and XMP bumped my speed to 3200mhz which is a nice OC on top of the rated 3000MHZ OC on the RAM. Perfect for 1080p gaming system.. not as fast as Intel's i5 4 core lineup but still a terrific CPU at a better price.
