Works great

Pros: These work great! First there is next to no installation if you have Windows 7 or above. No need for a install CD, just plug them in and Windows will optionally update them automatically. ZERO bloatware (a problem in the past with Logitech et al). They have a well designed, simple, universal mount that has so far worked great on various sized monitors from the thin to the few inches thick. It's very light weight, unobtrusive, and folds up nice and small for travel. Appears to update fine with a decent enough FPS rate. Way better then the ten-years-plus Logitech model we had were it was very low res with nauseating shearing/blurring effects. Plus this one works in normal/low lighting situations just fine. Now this camera might not be 'HD' per say but that's not a "CON" as it's probably, actually, smarter to get one like this that is ~1024 x 768 as it is plenty for simple Skype or Google Hangouts use. Lessor res generally means less CPU overhead for compression and less bandwidth; which in general equals more perceived "smoothness". Plus it's hard to beat for the price-point. Just drop about a Jackson for these and not have to worry about overkill 4x price for more bells and whistles that we probably wouldn't even notice. And if I didn't like it, I don't have much invested in it; but it does turn out to exactly fit the bill.
Cons: The only minor con about it: for the paranoid of us, knowing that there is a possibility any internet/wired camera or microphone can be remotely hijacked through targeted malware attacks..(although Big brother would get awfully bored listening/watching me). There is no little plastic slider deal to block the camera But then a little 1¢ piece of black tape flap could be improvised for this, or just tilt it up to face the ceiling. What I do anyhow is just unplug it when I'm not using it, thus it couldn't even be used for remote listening. My secrets are safe (for now).
Overall Review: Ended up buying three of these so I could talk with family members while working away from home. So far everyone is happy with them. Cheap and effective, hard to beat.
Went kaput after four months

Pros: Good price. Appeared to work fine.
Cons: Started getting random reboots on the machine, then ran memtest86 that showed failures left and right.
Overall Review: For a Dell Dimension XPS Gen 4 that I got for free. It's too bad on most if not all Dell machines the BIOS is so OEM and limited. Maybe I could fix this problem (although this RAM has been working fine for around four months) if the BIOS had standard options like DDR voltage controls, etc. I think Dell hides such things so users can't get them self in trouble and burn something out, etc. But would be nice if they at least had some sort of "advanced" mode that could be activated from a special key combo or something..
Better then expected

Pros: Being that it's refurbished wasn't sure what to expect, but there was nothing I could see on it at all to indicate it had any kind of use what so ever. Great little tablet. Does what we want it to do. Can play every game that wanted to play so far, and plays movies fine. The screen is very responsive, the minimal included, etc., are good and fine. As a matter of fact the wife and kids like it so much I haven't seen it very much since I got it. I'll have to get another just so I can get mine back..
Cons: Nothing major. I could mention the other things some others have vehemently ranted about like the mini-USB cable being short. But then that would be overly whiny..since the included one works fine and I ordered a 6' one for two dollars.
Overall Review: To play all the latest movie codecs (besides the most common already supported) you will want to download a codec that supports this chip set, and, or get the free VLC player too. After I did this all movies so far have been smooth.
Streaks very bad

Pros: Despite the streaks, it cleans a little.
Cons: Leaves visible streaks on the screen that can easily see with any cross light. The wipes also dry very quickly in normal room conditions.
Overall Review: Skip this one. Buy the type that has a spray bottle and wipes. I've used those before and they leave no streaks.
Seagate lemons and lack of responsibility

Pros: The drive luckily lasted for two years. I bought the drive because it had good specs.
Cons: The drive had bad firmware, and Seagate won't take responsibility if it's an OEM drive ("Bare Drive" = OEM). So many Seagate ST3500320AS are lemons. It's a known documented problem. The drive is defective from the manufacture. But even no they admit this, they refuse to take responsibility and fix OEM drives. Furthermore, they could have taken more responsibly by simply mailing everyone (who gave address by sending warranty card, or could have told Newegg to send them) a simple postcard to upgrade the firmware ASAP. They could have saved countless thousands of their customers from lost data, lost time to go fix a bricked drive, etc. Think twice about buying a Seagate now.
Overall Review: Okay, it's a slightly different drive number but the same specs. But of course you can't write a review for it as it's "discontinued". This is just a warning about Seagate drives.
Excellent

Pros: Been through several 100 packs of these, and I can barely recall one problem. Maybe one or two bad out of a few hundred but even then, I'm not sure it wasn't a hardware or software problem. Works so good, I used to use verification after burning, but stopped as I have never found one that didn't verify 100%
Cons: None
