So far so good

TomTom GO 730 4.3" gps Navigation with Bluetooth Handsfree calling
TomTom GO 730 4.3" gps Navigation with Bluetooth Handsfree calling

Pros: This is our second TomTom. I have the Ease for my wife. It goes without saying this is far superior. I like the screen size and the touch screen is more responsive. It paired up easily with my iPhone.

Cons: You need to be right on top of the unit for the phone option to sound right to the person on the other end otherwise it sounds very tinny and distant. My PC suddenly stopped recognizing the unit when I plugged it in for an update. This require a reset. I didn't lose any data from it but it took me a while to figure out what the problem was and still don't know why it happened. The car charger doesn't seem to work. It may just be pin placement. I get to test out TomTom support for this.

Overall Review: Overall I like the unit. Any cons I have now are not show stoppers, but they are annoying. I'm a bit miffed that TomTom doesn't allow more than one unit to be listed on the account for its Home app.

Kicks bu** for the price

TRENDnet TEW-421PC 802.11g Wireless PC Card
TRENDnet TEW-421PC 802.11g Wireless PC Card

Pros: It's cheap! Using it on a Dell C840 that's just a kick around machine and wasn't worth buying a replacement card for the one that burned out. It picks up more of a singal than the original card that came with the laptop and for me it was pretty easy to set up. The drivers on the disk worked the first time and there was no fuss.

Cons: It does stick out a bit far from the side, so I'm always worried about hitting it with something.

Overall Review: Overall it works well so far. I've walked it all through my place which has reinforced concrete walls and I only lost about 25% at the far end of my apartment.

Good little wireless adapter

TRENDnet TEW-424UB Wireless G Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates
TRENDnet TEW-424UB Wireless G Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: Very easy to install and picked up signals from all over my building practically. I've got my router in a back bedroom and I've never lost the signal throughout my whole apartment.

Cons: It get's pretty hot, but other than that, it works.

Overall Review: Just last week, my Dell laptop stopped recognizing it. It works in all my other machines so I'm sure it's just a problem with my laptop.
