Great Quality Product
Pros: Seasonic quality is king! Don't get me wrong. There are some "good" PSU brands. But then there is Seasonic. The warrantee is A+.
Cons: You pay for it. Totally worth it.
Overall Review: I've been building PC's and servers for almost 25 years. I've never had a Seasonic prematurely fail. So,,, yeah. It is what it is.
Good cooler, Bad fan
Pros: The cooler works well, Heatpipes... what can I say, it works. Even when you take the fan off the unit. Once installed, it's easy to adjust to make room for add on cards, i.e. video cards etc.
Cons: The fan started vibrating and got terribly loud. I removed the fan from the cooler and just let my 120mm case fans do the circulation for cooling.
Overall Review: The chipset did not heat up any more without the fan installed. So... This unit work just as good if you take the fan off(with good circulation). I dont know how well it would do if you have low circulation or no case fans.
Quality product
Pros: 4Tb capacity. Samsung. SSD
Cons: A little pricey. But not too bad. SATA speeds aren't the greatest. but... see below
Overall Review: Using as main Bulk storage. Should last a really long time. If you run Samsung magician software on it and set it to performance mode, then run "Performance optimization", Enable: RAPID Status - TRIM Status - and Over provisioning (10%). "RAPID status" uses your DRAM as cache and gives you a huge, but temporary, boost (see pic)
Great PC Foundation!
Pros: This thing is sweet! tons of I/O, WiFi 6, Storage support (PCI-e 5 ready), Japanese CAPS, full cooling backplate, LED's, just BEEFY.
Cons: Price, but you get what you pay for. Totally worth it, if you can swing the cost.
Overall Review: I have had zero issues with this board. Build install went smooth, 100%. IDK if I would call it future proof. But paired with a 13900k CPU, RTX 4090, and a Seasonic Prime Titanium 1300watt power supply... It's gonna kick some buttocks for quite a while. I hope, lol. *recommended
Great CPU!
Pros: Runs at 6100Mhz. Smoking fast; literally lol. During MSI Kumbustor CPU stress, @6100Mhz, the CPU temp levels out around 94°C to 96°C. I'm running a custom cooling loop, with (2)360mm radiators.
Cons: Power draw 250W. Tough to cool if OC'd. Can be done, but naturally runs hot under full load. And price, a little bit.
Overall Review: With this CPU you do get what you pay for. It's fast. Really fast. I never imagined how much faster it would be than my old 11700K.
Good personal storage solution
Pros: They work. :) 7200rpm. Slow data rates, but 2 in a mirror raid (raid1) assures data integrity even if 1 of them were to fail.
Cons: All platter HD's are slow. So... these are too.
Overall Review: Would buy again. *Recommended
