Most Favorable Review

Upgraded from 1080p

MSI 32 inch WQHD 2K 1440P 180Hz with AMD FreeSync 0.5ms HDR400 101% sRGB Curved Gaming Computer Monitor MAG 32CQ6F
MSI 32 inch WQHD 2K 1440P 180Hz with AMD FreeSync 0.5ms HDR400 101% sRGB Curved Gaming Computer Monitor MAG 32CQ6F

Pros: HDR is showing 450 nits for this model, better than expected. Turning on Auto-HDR in Windows Settings will activate HDR in all games that support it when the game launches. Much better when used in conjunction with FSR3 compared to 1080P. Dark environments are much more detailed with the built-in AI processing.

Overall Review: The biggest fear I had when making this investment was that I would not be able to see any real difference between this and my 1080p 32inch Acer E320QR (2020 model). It's literally night and day. Text is much sharper on the MSI MAG, colors more vibrant, peak brightness is higher in areas that need it, textures are sharper. Newer games like Final Fantasy Rebirth, Dragon's Dogma 2, Baldur's Gate 3 all have much more pronounced benefits from 1440p, as if the developers were just supporting 1080p but actually designing the games with higher resolutions in mind. This monitor is worth every penny paid for it and then some.

Very Satisfied

ABS Mage E - Ryzen 5 3600 - GeForce RTX 2060 - 16GB DDR4 - 512GB SSD - Gaming Desktop PC
ABS Mage E - Ryzen 5 3600 - GeForce RTX 2060 - 16GB DDR4 - 512GB SSD - Gaming Desktop PC

Pros: Since several hardware configurations and models are tunneled into one review thread, my specific ABS Mage contained a Ryzen 3600, Nvidia RTX 2060 6GB, 550 watt power supply, 512GB SATA SSD. All hardware contained in the computer is verified correct. The RTX 2060 is the MSI 6GB variety. The power supply is an APEX 80+ bronze 550 watt. The motherboard is an ASRock B450m/ac. And the RAM is 2x8 GB dual channel memory rated at 3000Mhz. The SSD is a Team Group 500GB. It scored about 30% lower than my Samsung 860 QVO 2TB when running benchmark tests but that's still miles above any mechanical 7200 RPM drive. Everything works perfectly and the package arrived on time and undamaged.

Cons: The RAM is rated at 3000Mhz but is currently running at 2400Mhz, which was the default speed when I first turned on the computer. Tweaking in motherboard BIOS settings will be required to bring the RAM up to the correct clock speeds. The difference in performance is 5% to 10% depending on what kinds of applications or games you are running. While the power supply is good quality and modular, it will only support up to 2 SATA drives. The motherboard has SATA connections for up to 4 SSD's or HDD's, so connecting more than 2 storage devices will require replacing the power supply.

Overall Review: I would highly recommend this product as a value oriented mid tier gaming PC to anyone who might be looking to upgrade from a quad core processor. The difference between this computer and my old i5 4460s is noticeable in all daily tasks but becomes much more pronounced when playing games that were made within the last 5 years.
