Nice fan but...
Pros: Quiet, moves a good amount of air
Cons: It does not line up very well with 230mm screw holes, on the front of my Cooler Master HAF932 I was only able to get 3 screws in and on the side of the case it is impossible to get more than 2 in. This is a problem that should not exist in my mind and there is really no excuse for it, all my other 230mm fans fit perfectly.
Pros: Not as loud as some cards Fast!
Cons: Doesn't give me any sweet nunchuk skills.
Overall Review: I bought 2 and have them in SLI. I was a bit worried at first because I only have a 1000W PSU and I didn't think it would be enough. Under full 100% load they are pulling around 280W each (I have them set to 120% power). My system information is below. I also did a 3DMark score, I will put that result below as well. ➤ Motherboard : Asus Rog Maximus VIII Hero ➤ Processor : Intel 6700K Quad Core ➤ RAM: 16GB G. Skill RipJaws 4 Series ➤ OS : Windows ➤ Storage : 2 x 240GB SSD in RAID 0 + 2TB WD Black ➤ GPUs : 2 x EVGA GTX 1080ti SC2 ➤ PSU : 1000W EVGA 3DMark = 3dmark.com/spy/1744368
Good wireless card.
Pros: I know a lot of people do not like the stand that you can attach the antennas to but I do. It keeps the antennas from cluttering the back of my case and getting in the way of cables. Of course that is just me. It was super easy to setup and install, I have yet to go to ASUS's website and download new drivers and it works with windows 10 just fine so far.
Cons: The cord from the antenna base to the back of the computer is kinda short. It would have been nice if it was a couple feet longer.
Overall Review: I have an older duel band router at 5ghz and my connection speed is constantly at 450Mb/s. I can only recall once that the speed was 405Mb/s. I also have 100Mb/s cable internet and my downloads on Steam are always right at 12.5MB/s which is more than fast enough for me.
They turn one fan port into 2
Pros: Again, they turn one fan port on the mobo into 2
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: I got 2 of these since I bought 4 120mm Cougar fans for the side of my case (Cooler Master HAF 932) I havn't noticed any power loss from plugging just one fan into the mobo port vs using this splitter. I have an ASUS Maximus Hero VIII. Of course always keep in mind to look up your mobo's power capacity for the fan ports, I definitely would not try plugging two 230mm fans into one port.
This is only the second time I have bought an item that was not from newegg directly and everything was super smooth. They shipped the item very quickly and provided a tracking number. As far as I'm concerned this is a good store to work with.
