Worth the money

MSI Aegis RS2 (Tower) Gaming Desktop, Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, GeForce RTX 5080, 32GB DDR5, 2TB M.2 NVMe, Liquid Cooling, USB Type-C, VR-Ready, Windows 11 Home
MSI Aegis RS2 (Tower) Gaming Desktop, Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, GeForce RTX 5080, 32GB DDR5, 2TB M.2 NVMe, Liquid Cooling, USB Type-C, VR-Ready, Windows 11 Home

Pros: Fast... Powerful... Ready for 3A gaming... Good for content creation... You will get everything as advertised.

Cons: Failed to recognize a Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor during the initialization process. You may need a 16:9 monitor to finish the initialization process before you can install or update display drivers. I'm not sure whether this is a Windows 11 issue or a MSI issue, but easily solvable.

Overall Review: Brands of the parts (according to what I got): MSI PRO Z890-P WIFI Intel Ultra 9 285k MSI RTX 5080 16G VENTUS 3X OC PLUS Team T-Force Vulcan 32GB (2 x 16GB) RAM DDR5 Kingston SNV2S 2TB (not a good pick for a pc at this price...) Liquid cooling, brand unknown but with MSI logo PSU 850w, brand unknown Case, brand unknown but with MSI logo MSI Forge GK300 gaming keyboard MSI Ultra-lightweight gaming mouse, product model unknown Microsoft Windows 11 Home Cable management is at or above average Packaged carefully This purchase is overall a very good deal, especially in view of the currently overpriced GPU market.

Good RAM

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL9D-8GBXM
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL9D-8GBXM

Pros: Works. Notice that the default XMP profile timing is 9-11-10-28 2T. But there should be no problem to run 1T, if ur mobo isn't too cra*_*ppy.

Cons: Voltage hungery. Price relatively high. Have tried to down clock it to 1866 and 1600, with cas latency 8 and 7, respectively. Passed stress tests at 1.65V. However at 1.5V it turned out to be unstable. This RAM may be designed for high voltage I think.

Overall Review: Currently running this RAM at 1866, 8-10-9-26 1T, under 1.65V. Nothing exciting though, since my asus maximus iv extreme is known as an oc capable mobo. If u r looking for a 2133 RAM that definitely works, go for this one; if u r looking for a good oc purpose RAM, there r better choices, with SAME PRICE. One example could be another G.SKILL product: F3-14900CL8D-8GBXM, same series (blue ripjawsX), 1866MHz, 8-9-9-24 (2T default as well), 1.5V. Obviously better oc potential but same price hah? Anyway, this product was over estimated, and I think the price was boosted partially by the high customer ratings. Let me take one egg down then, due to the relatively high price.
