Overall Review: this was exactly as stated and matched the actual chips in my dell precision workstation that i ordered with xeon processor and ECC ram. I tried other ECC ram but it would not work because most ECC ram is registered. whether that makes this a lesser chip or not is moot as this is what Dell sold to me when i bought it. I am just glad I found this at newegg!
