Very nice monitor for the money

MSI 32" (31.5" Viewable) 170 Hz VA QHD Gaming Monitor FreeSync Premium (AMD Adaptive Sync) 2560 x 1440 (2K) 91% DCI-P3 / 114.8% sRGB G32CQ4 E2

Pros: I use this primarily for gaming, surfing, and movies and in most cases, particularly gaming, this thing is pretty dang amazing for the money.

Cons: There is pretty extensive white light bleeding through across the upper edge is some rare/specific situations,

Overall Review: Definitely would purchase again, games and movies look incredible

Win 11, the worst Windows version yet

Microsoft Windows 11 Home 64-bit, DVD
Microsoft Windows 11 Home 64-bit, DVD

Pros: It kind of works, does install basic drivers during installation such as LAN

Cons: Win 11 continues the OS downhill slide from MS since Win 7. The interface means additional clicks to find your programs, this is after googling how to do it. Automatically adds OneDrive and enables syncing so when you drag your data over from the previous OS you get constant alerts via email and desktop that you have maxed your account and you need to purchase more space, at the same time it makes it exceedingly difficult to suspend syncing (8 hours max), disabling or deleting this garbage from the OS. Win 11 shows my Canon printer in devices via USB cable which indicates a basic driver but will not allow me to to install the drivers, had to enable WAN and do it wirelessly. It has only been a few days but the list of failures for this OS continues to grow, the only reason I don't use Linux exclusively is because of gaming compatibility.

Overall Review: It is exceedingly frustrating that MS abuses it's virtual OS monopoly by forcing it's customer base to purchase it's next, and less stable/capable/bloated OS, that many of us didn't ask for. Unless you have a program that doesn't work with Linux or there isn't a suitable alternative I'd encourage people to try something like Linux Mint which is far superior to the bloated stumbling mess that MS forces on us.

Great case, don't let the budget price fool you

Phanteks Enthoo Pro TG PH-ES614PTG_BK Integrated RGB Lighting Control Tempered Glass Side Panel ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Black

Pros: I have big paws and this case gives me the room to work, has very good cable management, cooling, option for liquid cooling, DVD drive bays (rare anymore), plenty of SSD mounting options, a nice steel cover over the PSU to pretty up the visuals when looking through the glass side panel.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Fantastic case that out performs others at a much higher price point.

Sized for big paws but has a flaw

ASUS ROG Spatha X Wireless Gaming Mouse (Magnetic Charging Stand, 12 Programmable Buttons, 19,000 DPI, Push-fit Hot Swap Switch Sockets, ROG Micro Switches, ROG Paracord and Aura RGB lighting)
ASUS ROG Spatha X Wireless Gaming Mouse (Magnetic Charging Stand, 12 Programmable Buttons, 19,000 DPI, Push-fit Hot Swap Switch Sockets, ROG Micro Switches, ROG Paracord and Aura RGB lighting)

Pros: I have big paws and this is the first mouse I've owned in years that actually fit them. Good configuration options, good looking mouse. DPI range is excellent, mouse is accurate and smooth.

Cons: Two cons: ASUS placed the sniper button right where my thumb rests so almost every time I move the mouse I'm activating it, very annoying. The mouse wheel is very sensitive, it is too easy to accidentally depress it which can make for a bad day gaming.

Overall Review: Neither cons are really deal breakers as you can adjust your mouse handling to compensate but you really shouldn't have had to.

Big and fast

TEAM 1TB C212 Extreme Speed USB 3.2 Gen2 Flash Drive, Speed Up to 1000MB/s (TC21231TBB01)

Pros: Big, fast, did not need to format prior to use

Cons: None

Overall Review: Definitely a buy

Ultimately a decent board but has issues

ASRock X670E Steel Legend AM5 ATX Motherboard. 4xDDR5 slots, PCIE 5.0X16, AMD Cross Fire, QuadM.2 slots, Dual LAN ports 1GB and 2.5GB , WIFI-6E,7.1 HD audio, HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4 ports
ASRock X670E Steel Legend AM5 ATX Motherboard. 4xDDR5 slots, PCIE 5.0X16, AMD Cross Fire, QuadM.2 slots, Dual LAN ports 1GB and 2.5GB , WIFI-6E,7.1 HD audio, HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4 ports

Pros: Once it staggers to life it is a stable board, respectable boot times, good feature set.

Cons: Ryzen 9 7900, 32gb Corsair DDR5 6400, Corsair 1,000 watt PSU, AMD Powercolor 7800XT GPU. On initial boot it kept halting on CPU and Memory, tried reseating and moving the memory to different slots with no luck. Reseated the CPU but still won't boot if memory is in slots 1 and 3, only boots if in 2 and 4. Design problems include GPU lock hidden by motherboard heat sink and all 4 SATA ports hidden by GPU so if you want to add a device you have to remove the GPU first. I

Overall Review: I've used Asrock for years, found them to be more reliable than the big boys like Asus, Gigabyte, ets., but they fumbled on this one. I'm not adding anymore memory so don't need the other two slots otherwise I'd return this board just for that, the design flaws are an annoyance but the engineers designing this had to have known they were creating a problem for the customer.

Pretty straight forward, bought the watch at an excellent price through Newegg, arrived promptly and works, as a bonus my daughter loves it.
