Pros: easy install, immediately recognized, low latency

Cons: The memory is recognized incorrectly. CPU-Z sees it as 8-7-8-20, not 7-8-7-20. They say to send it in and get it replaced, like I can be without memory for the time it takes to do that. The fix is to change it in BIOS, which works fine. Not sure if doing this is technically overclocking the memory or not, but it works.

Overall Review: I bought 6 gigs and in the end I will buy 6 more gigs of this same memory when I upgrade to Adobe CS5 - if Adobe ever figures out the video card situation.

Pros: It's a decent board when it's working.

Cons: 2 boards have now failed on me.

Overall Review: No, I would not recommend this board. I spent a month researching boards and thought this had a good price/feature balance. Ugh. I wish they would offer some sort of credit towards a new board. The refurbished ones they send back are questionable at best.

Pros: I'm reinstalling the board tonight, I'll update with a review once its installed and working properly. Maybe I'll be so overwhelmed with the greatness of the board, Ill be forced to change my 2 egg review! UPDATE: So, I thought about giving the board an extra egg as its now been working well for about a month (I did have to install all the updated drivers and firmware to get the USB ports to work- but they are finally now working as expected), but, MSI has now declined to honor my rebate, saying the board was not covered at the time- which is clearly wrong. So now I have to fight with MSI as well to get my $20 bucks back. Seriously, this board has not been worth the trouble. Minus one more egg.

Cons: Received faulty board, died the first time I plugged something (my phone) into the USB port. MSI RMA would take over 2 weeks, Newegg took it back, but replaced it with an open-box board. I paid for a new board, not an open box, possibly new board. Pretty disappointed all around. Maybe once I get the board up and running I'll feel better, but for now.....meh.

Overall Review: I've had 2 MSI boards go bad fairly quickly. This one happened immediately, I also had an MSI X99a MPower board that lasted about a year, then went dead. I'm going to sell the refurb they sent back. I don't overclock, I don't do much of anything to stress the board, RAM or the processors out. Once it's built, I tend to leave things alone. I'm very careful handling everything. Ahhhhh well, moving forward, thinking positive.

Cons: I bought 2 of the 27.5 inch version of this monitor (HZ281 model). in January of 2012. It is now having red banding issues across the screen and is basically useless. I have contacted customer service 3 times in the past 3 weeks and have gotten NO RESPONSE. They don't care. What ever you do, make sure you have someone other than Hanns-G with the warranty on this product. I loved it until it didn't work. I guess if your timeline for owning a monitor is to buy a new one every 2 years, then this might work.

Overall Review: I've not had a company ignore customer service requests before, its very odd behavior. I guess I'll pay the extra 20 bucks to get a name I know will back their product in the future.

Pros: beautiful while it worked

Cons: the 3 years warranty is useless when customer service doesn't answer inquiries about the monitor. I've sent 3 separate emails asking about the warranty as one of the two monitors I bought has red banding and color issues. Haven't heard a word from them. I wont buy anything from this company again.
